We’re not big on bragging about good deeds — we just want you to see where your donations are going: directly into the hands of people who need them.

This week, Kim and I brought coats, hats, socks, and blankets from the Warm Hearts Drive to local shelters and neighbors experiencing homelessness right here in the Roanoke Valley.

Over 300 items collected so far — and we’re just getting started. ❤️
Every coat. Every pair of gloves. Every blanket. They all came from you — people in this community who stepped up to make sure no one faces the cold alone this winter.

❤️ THE WARM HEARTS DRIVE — Over 100 Donations and Counting! ❤️

Wow… Roanoke, you’ve shown up in a big way.

When we started the Warm Hearts Drive, the goal was simple — to help keep our neighbors warm this winter. What started as a small idea through Kim’s Companion Care has already grown into a community movement.

In just the first couple of weeks, we’ve collected over 100 coats, blankets, gloves, and socks for local families and the homeless right here in the Roanoke Valley. 🙌

Every single item represents someone in our community who cared enough to make sure another person doesn’t have to face the cold alone — and that’s powerful. ❤️

🧥✨ Blanket & Coat Drive for Our Roanoke Community! ✨🧣

As the chilly weather sets in, many families and individuals in Roanoke are struggling to stay warm. Let’s come together to spread warmth, love, and hope this season! ❤️

I’m organizing a Blanket & Coat Drive to support homeless individuals and local children in need right here in our city.

📦 We’re accepting:
• New or gently used coats (all sizes)
• Blankets & sleeping bags
• Warm clothing (hoodies, gloves, scarves, socks, etc.)

Hey guys!

We know we haven’t been as active lately on Facebook, we are excited to announce that we are bringing a new member into our family… our newborn baby girl will be born here in the next week or 2, and we wanted to make an announcement that we will be pausing all services indefinitely. 

You can expect to see us operational again by December - January. Until then we hope you all have a fantastic holiday season!!

Dogs can see colors—but not like humans do! 🌈 While they aren’t colorblind in the way people once believed, dogs see a limited color spectrum. They can distinguish blues and yellows well but struggle with reds and greens, which may look more like shades of gray or brown to them.

You never know how important an ID tag is until you become separated from your dog. Take the time to have an ID tag made up with your phone number, dog’s name, and vet’s phone number. Make sure this information is kept up to date!🚨
