I am just now realizing that yesterday was considered "World Pet Memorial Day". My life has been shaped for the better by many amazing animals throughout my life, of all varieties.

Picture 1 is Zoey running out into the field, dropping a deuce (yes, I bagged it), then becoming a victim needing a savior.

Picture 2 is my son and Zoey a few years ago at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm.

Picture 3 is Poppy (still with us) and Pickles who, unknown to me, had cancer and passed within the same week of our photo shoot.
