LAST BUT NOT LEAST... CHOSEN!!!

Chosen has been an important member of the clinic family for years now. He is our indoor/outdoor cat but when he is inside his only job is keeping our chairs warm. He likes to pester our patients and we like to dress him up and perform "cat scans" of him on our copy machine. He is a bottomless pit when it comes to food and likes to steal our food anytime he gets the chance. Chosen's best friend Chola lives outside and we are slowly but surely convincing her to come inside and hangout with us! ⭐🥹💚
Life wouldn't be the same here without our Chosen boy!🥰

S.V.H.U.C Staff Highlight!! 🥰🤩🥳
Emma! Emma is a CSR here at S.V.H.U.C and actually just celebrated one year of working here!! 💥🎉 Emma has lived all over Texas, she grew up in the Amarillo area but graduated from high school near Corpus Christi but now resides in Waco, TX. She has been in the vet field for about 8 years now and her favorite part of veterinary medicine is being there to support the pets as well as their owners in the best and worst of times, giving a hand to hold or a shoulder to cry on whenever it is needed. 🩷
Emma enjoys spending time with her family, especially with her husband and son. She likes to travel and loves game nights! Emma has two dogs, a beagle mix named Tilly and a German Shepherd mix named Walter and one cat named Mrs. Norris. 🐶🐱

We love having Emma on the team!! Her genuine love for our patients, their owners and for the entire staff makes her a vital part of Salado Veterinary Hospital and Urgent Care.

Rebekah is one of our wonderful technicians!! We love Rebekah almost as much as she loves French Bulldogs. 😜
Rebekah was born in California but raised in Texas, she was in the Army for 4 years and just switched over to the reserves. Thank you for your service!!❤️ She loves to travel and explore new places!! She has (now) 3 french bulldogs that are absolutely spoiled by Rebekah as well as the rest of the staff! 🐾 Her favorite part of working in the veterinary field is getting to be a voice for those that don't have one. She is extremely kind and caring towards not only all of the furry, scaled and feathered friends that come into the clinic but all of their owners as well.

We are so lucky to have her as part of the team. 😍🥳

These were donated to us and most definitely will not be reused for surgery, however they were perfect for Chosen's exam.😆

Heather has been an absolute light and blessing to have here at Salado Veterinary Hospital and Urgent Care. Which is what makes this staff highlight bittersweet..❤️💔 Heather is leaving to join the Army as a combat medic and we are SO proud of her! 🇺🇸 But we will miss her so very much. 🥲Heather is originally from the south Houston area and has been in this field for about 12 years. Her favorite part of working in veterinary medicine is being able to help pets as well as their owners in times of emergency. She loves witnessing the love that owners have for their fur babies as she can completely relate! 🐶🐱🐾

Heather promises to come back and visit/work with us soon - we sure hope so because it definitely won't be the same without her. Best of luck to you Heather on your new adventure and thank you for everything you have done here! Thank you for your service.

S.V.H.U.C Staff Highlight! ⭐️🩺

Amy! We love our Amy!! 🥹🤩 Amy is one of our marvelous technicians. She is a rock star! She is incredibly knowledgable, kind and caring. She has 2 dogs named Cooper (border collie/australian shepherd mix) and Pippin (French Bulldog). Her favorite part of working in vet med is knowing that she is making a positive impact in our patient's lives. Amy plays the piano, clarinet and the ukulele. She is originally from Logan, Utah but has lived in central Texas for about 6 months now. We are so thankful to have her on our team.

S.V.H.U.C Staff Highlight 🥳🐾

Patrick a.k.a "Pop Pop" and "Puppy Inspector" is our wonderful Practice Manager here at S.V.H.U.C!!👮‍♂️💚 Patrick is a clinic favorite for both staff and clients/patients!! He is always there to make us laugh, lend a helping hand in every department, assist us anytime we have a problem or concern and pretty much anything else he is there, ready to help.
Patrick has 2 dogs who he spoils named Drax (Great Dane) and Arya (Goldendoodle). He is originally from Louisiana but has lived in Texas for about 2 years now. His favorite part of working in vet medicine is getting to love on all of the fur and feathered babies that come in every day! He is our certified puppy inspector/whisperer. 🐶

This is Olivia! Olivia is one of our amazing customer service representatives. She is originally from Knoxville, TN but has lived in the central Texas area for about 5 years now. She has one doggy named Hazel and her favorite thing about working in vet med is getting to love on all of the precious puppies that come into the clinic!! 🥰🩵 Olivia enjoys binge watching new tv series and baking. Morgan!! Morgan "Lil' Mo" is one of our amazing veterinary technicians. She keeps this place running smoothly - she lends a helping hand to ANYONE in need, keeps everything restocked, neat and tidy no matter how busy we are, keeps everyone upbeat and laughing and has the kindest heart when it comes to our patients and their owners.
Morgan's favorite part of working in the vet field is getting to show love to all different types of animals! At home she has one doggy, a Cane Corso named Zro - we love him bunches! She also has a son named Luis who is absolutely precious! ☺️ She is originally from Belton, Tx and we are sooo grateful to have her on our team here at Salado Veterinary Hospital and Urgent Care!! 🥳
