SEMC is hiring an Evening Technician!

This role involves hands-on patient care and hospital treatments in a fast-paced equine hospital environment. Responsibilities can include horse handling, assisting with medications and treatments, collecting samples, running basic lab work, bandaging, patient monitoring, and learning additional technical skills along the way.
Experience in equine medicine is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person. We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the confidence to ask questions, advocate for themselves, and grow with our team.

Wobblers surgery is designed to stabilize the cervical spine and reduce compression on the spinal cord.

For some horses, surgical intervention can significantly improve coordination, comfort, and quality of life. In Part 4, we’ll take a closer look at recovery and rehabilitation after surgery.
