Nominations for Creative Loafing’s Best of the Bay 2026 are open and I would love nothing more than to see The Meditating Mutt representing our amazing St. Pete community for Best Dog Trainer.

You guys know my heart and everything I do is centered around helping our dogs navigate this human world with a sense of calm, confidence, and emotional balance. Whether I’m helping a client’s pup find their flow on a busy street corner, holding space for an anxious dog, or working with our local shelters and rescues, my goal is always to bring more peace and harmony to both ends of the leash.

🎉 It is a very special week over here at The Meditating Mutt🐾✨

The stars have truly aligned because we are celebrating a massive triple-header of rescue love:
🎈 On Sunday, we celebrated Bruno’s Gotcha Day🌈
🎂 Yesterday, our vocal queen Luna turned 11 👑🍰
❤️ And today is National Rescue Dog Day 🐕✨

My house is full of rescues, and my heart (and daily work!) is completely dedicated to them. Willie, Luna, and Bruno are a daily reminder of why I love what I do!

If you have a rescue pup at home, give them some extra love, an extra treat, or a long “sniffari” today. They truly deserve the moon. 🌙💛
