Blanca is a gentle, affectionate cat who has been blossoming more and more each day. She may take a little time to trust, but once she feels comfortable, her loving nature really shines through. Blanca loves being around people. She will often greet you at the door with a soft meow, rub against your legs, or hop into your lap for head rubs and cheek scratches. She purrs happily during cuddle sessions and sometimes even rests her chin on your lap, soaking up the comfort of being close.

Playtime is also on Blanca’s list of favorite things. She enjoys toys like her jellyfish wand, laser pointer, and especially anything dusted with catnip. She will stretch, roll on her tummy, kick at toys, and show off her goofy, playful side. Her scratching post is another favorite spot for exercise and stress relief.

Blanca has come a long way. She used to be more anxious and cautious, but now she is calmer, more affectionate, and increasingly confident. She still likes to set boundaries and appreciates when people respect her signals. With patience, kindness, and a gentle touch, Blanca continues to grow into the affectionate, adoring companion she is meant to be.

Blanca would do best in a quieter home with someone who understands that love and trust take time. In return, she will reward you with loyalty, sweetness, and the joy of watching her personality bloom.

**UPDATE** thanks to this incredible community, after less than 24 hours, we've already met our $2,500 goal from FB and Instagram fundraisers to cover the cost to repair the damage to our front door and window! From the bottom of our hearts, and on behalf of the cats in our care, thank you!

Any additional gifts will go directly to caring for cats with medical needs, helping families in crisis keep their pets, and strengthening our community programs.

Feline Rescue's office building unfortunately suffered some vandalism over the weekend. Our front door and window were shattered by a man walking by using a rock as a weapon.

We're lucky nothing was stolen and no cats were harmed, but the cost to repair the damage will total $2,500.

Evie is a gentle, sweet-natured girl who enjoys life at her own pace. While she may be a little cautious at first, with a bit of encouragement she blossoms into a curious, affectionate companion. She loves soft pets, especially on her forehead, and will reward you with a happy purr once she feels comfortable.

Playtime brings out her fun side. Evie enjoys chasing feather wands and batting at toys, especially when they slither under blankets. She also has a soft spot for cozy stuffed toys, often curling up with them for comfort. Treats aren't really her thing, but she is happy to join in when her brother Charlie is having fun.

Evie and Charlie are a lovely, balanced pair. He is the outgoing socialite, while she is the calm and thoughtful observer. Together, they make the perfect duo: playful, affectionate, and ready to bring joy to a forever home.

Evie needs to be adopted with Charlie so they can continue sharing their sweet bond.

We're happy to say that our re-scheduled Meow Community Market will take place on Saturday, September 20th from 10am-3pm at the Feline Rescue shelter parking lot (593 Fairview Ave N, St Paul, MN 55104)!

We'll have cat food, litter, cat trees, carriers, toys and other cat memorabilia while supplies last! Everything is "pay-what-you-can".
