Red Babies

Just Another Tough Day

Additional note:
I asked my husband when he came in for clues. He said that the livestock dogs went crazy this morning. He went out with g.u.n in hand to investigate but saw nothing.

We have had a mountain lion come close in the past. My guess is it was back or some other deadly predator.

It is disheartening to lose so many kits but I know it could have been way worse. I did mercy cull the fourth one from Wednesday's litter that was not doing very well.
