My name is Amanda Anderson and I have a 12 year old Chihuahua mix named Leelu. We’ve been a part of the Saint Joseph community since April of 2015. I became a professional dog groomer after I received my CVA (Certified Veterinary Assistant) certificate from Franklin Technology Center . I graduated a week after the devastating tornado hit Joplin on May 21, 2011. I spent the following month at the a

nimal shelter volunteering with the ASPCA and veterinary staff in treating injured animals and rehoming over 1200 displaced pets. After that I went to work at PetSmart in the salon and fell in LOVE with it. I attended their Grooming Academy and have been in the industry for 10 years now! I’m very passionate about providing the best quality care for pets and believe the grooming experience should be KIND and GENTLE. I treat each dog as if they were my own.
