A pedestrian was struck on the corner of Main Street in downtown Edwardsville. The person was walking their golden doodle and the doodle ran away. Please be on the lookout and inform the police through the non emergency line if you spot him. Our thoughts are with the owner and the pup. Please help us spread the word so we can get this fur baby home!

Welcome to the farm, Duchess! This sweet gal is here for our overnight program, and we will focus on managing and modifying some of her behaviors while taking her obedience to the next level. As a guardian breed, she is bred to protect livestock; however, in her case, she is protecting the home environment and neighborhood by lunging at passing cars and reacting to other dogs on walks. There's lots of barking, and she responds to 'come' only about 50% of the time, depending on the distractions. With firm boundaries, structure, and teaching her owners proper reinforcement, this gentle giant will thrive! Let’s go, Duchess!

Welcome to the farm, Butters and Willie! We are full of teenage boys this week! 🤪 These 2 are super sweet, but like any pair they feed off of each other. We will be focusing on obedience commands, barking and relaxation exercises to modify some reactivity and anxiety. Let’s go, boys!!!

Welcome to the farm, Frank and Tony! These boys' behavior consists of performing an entire Bee Gees concert with harmonies and reenacting scenes from the movie Step Brothers. If you aren't music or movie savvy, I'll go ahead and break it down in dog training lingo. We will be focusing on obedience, impulse control, calmness for interactions (no more assaulting Mom... cough cough, Frank), and becoming civilized pups at home and in public. With a little structure and some boundaries, these boys will be whipped into shape in no time! Let’s go!!!

Welcome to the farm, Sherman! This boy's good looks are undeniable, but mentally, he's just a big, goofy teenager! We will focus on basic obedience and off-leash reliability. He also needs to learn some impulse control because he loves everyone and everything a little too much. I have no doubt this handsome fella will thrive in our daily program! Let’s go, Sherman! 💚
