Sometimes you just got to change your set up.
A learning curve? Yes. A little more care than a bearded dragon? Yes. But falling in love with these little poison dart frogs. The Coasta Rican Green and Black Arrow Heads. Love how they hunt. Also liking how the various fruit fly cultures I have replenish themselves, which saves on the wallet.

It's been awhile. When Covid hit, it knocked out my plans to continue breeding reptiles. We had a kid and I took on a second job, went back to school and got a better job. I have one bearded dragon left, It was part of the last clutch that hatched.. I won't breed bearded dragons again. Sorry, I was losing time and money. And in the end, I didnt enjoy it. It was becoming industrial. Numbed. And that wasn't me. I found new homes for the rest. (86 bearded dragons to be excact).
I still have everything scattered between the basement and garage. Incubators, tanks, lighting, bowls, bins etc. I do toy with the idea of starting back up. But no. So, Im taking my old terrariums and turning them into something, something where I can take my time and I can enjoy.
I just built this live terrarium out of the baby dragon tank. And yes I got a dart frog.
To all those that got a dragon from me, thank you, I hope everything is going well. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to DM me.

Since last year I have been inactive on social media. I have gotten rid of most of my breeders and been dormant to the public eye. Starting over. Over the course of 3 years of doing this, I started to look at the dragons merely as a product than a pet. I have scaled back, the incubators are in a dark corner somewhere in the basement, powerless, lifeless. The hatchling tanks lay empty. No dragon looking for its next meal or basking under the heat lamp. Bins and tubs stacked up and equipment barely used. In my office, I have 6 dragons. Sadly The AA, BB, BC series dragons are gone, lost in time. Food is plentiful now, no more scrounging up change for food. NO more taking a huge cut to sell off a few dragons so I can feed the others. I am not overwhelmed between two to three jobs and the consent care of over 100 dragons. It's going to be about a year and a half before I start again. The dragons I do have are 2nd gen dragons and one I bought from another breeder. Already preparing two of those dragons for breeding. The first male is Pluto (From the BB series (Leatherback/ possible Paradox) and the first female is Athena (Trans). If everything goes well we will see the CD series in about 1 1/2- 2 years. See you all then.

As Pluto grows, I'm noticing some color spots appearing. He is a leatherback, last of the BB series. I noticed he was differnt than the others. But those spots were bairly noticable. Now the spots are coming in darker after every shed. When he is older pairing him with my translucent dragon.

We finally did it, we got a translucent. meet Apollo/Athena. (Till I can tell the s*x). I wanted something older, but due to genetics, translucents are tricky so I wanted a baby to learn how to care for it. It has 6 toes on one foot (Not shown: found that out when I got home). As for my breeders, they are retired and I am currently raising the next gen. If everything goes right, it should be about a year till I can get the hypos and 1 1/2 for the leatherbacks and two years for the trans. I got a few het hypos and a few leatherbacks up for grabs. I also got young large regular dragons but with neurological issues, they eat great, but they stumble around. They still act like dragons though. I got two rescue dragons, 1 with a cyst on his back that needs a home. and the other may not make it, not giving up on her though, but experience tells me, Im just prolonging whats going to happen. Even though we are quite, we are still here and slowly getting back into things, and hopefully soon, start doing expos again. Stay safe out there, and see you all soon.

With some major setbacks and not be able to go to any shows and working 7 days a week between two jobs, I decided I am going to be taking a break and start this project back up when I can find the time and money. I plan to start back up early next year. Right now I have free rescue dragons about 6 months old that have neurological issues (3) they are eating and growing but move and behave differently. They were hatched that way but they do get around and are acting like normal dragons. I got 11 Dragons that will be ready next month. Those are my Het hypos/Leatherbacks. Usually, they will be ready now, But I want to wait for them to get a little bit older since I do not have any upcoming clutches. I will still support the dragons you got from me and answer any questions you may have.

Big Bertha' One of my second gen dragons, replacing her mother when of age for regular dragon morphs. 6 months old right now and last clutch of the AA series. Yes I slowed down on breeding dragons. Due to health concerns my first gens are retiring. But Im still at it.

Im keeping this guy. 6 weeks old. Was thinking about vending this weekend but ill wait till they get older. I only got 19 dragons this time so quality over quantity. He is about to shed but tail already went through. You can see the orange highlights. Cant wait what he will look like after completly shedding. Love the marble pattern. Got some hypos and other leatherbacks. Even got a few zebra patterns. Pictures coming soon.

Picture of the day goes to this little guy, 3-4 weeks old.
