🐾 Exciting News! 🎉 Starting August 21st, Dr. Petsche will be offering echocardiogram appointments every Thursday right here at Loyal Companions—for both our clients and the surrounding community! 🐶🐱

An echocardiogram is a non-invasive way to evaluate your pet’s heart health, helping us detect issues like heart disease early—when intervention can make the biggest difference. Whether your pet is showing symptoms or needs a screening before anesthesia or dental work, this diagnostic tool can provide life-saving insights.

❤️ At Loyal Companions, we understand how long the wait times can be at specialty hospitals. That’s why we’re proud to be a resource for timely, in-house echocardiograms—so your pet gets the care they need, when they need it.

Dental radiographs (commonly referred to as x-rays) are a crucial part of an anesthetic dental procedure. There is a great deal of a tooth that you cannot see above the gum line. Our standard of care here at Loyal Companions is to take full mouth dental radiographs on EVERY patient that comes to see us for a professional dental procedure, to give every pet the comprehensive dental health they deserve.

We’re thrilled to welcome all the newly adopted pets from Anderson Humane who visited Loyal Companions for their very first Fear Free veterinary experience this month! 🐶🐱

From wiggly tails to curious whiskers, these pets have already stolen our hearts. 💕 We’re honored to be part of their journey as they settle into their forever homes — with extra treats, gentle handling, and lots of love along the way.

👋🏼🐾 Meet Nora, one of Loyal Companion's fabulous Fear Free Certified Veterinary Technician!

"My love for animals goes way back. I knew early on that I wanted to turn my love for animals into a career that gives back.

I graduated from the Vet Tech Institute of Fox College in 2015 and have been working in small animal medicine ever since. I joined the Loyal Companions team in 2021, and I am so glad I did. Being part of an amazing team with a Fear Free approach to medicine allows me to provide the excellent, compassionate care that my patients and their families deserve.

In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and two kids, especially enjoying the outdoors. Our home feels complete, thanks to our newest addition, our sweet Shih Tzu, Gizmo!"
