Just For Paws was founded in 2014 by John Webb. John is an animal enthusiast who has always had a desire to work with animals. His first job working with animals came as a kennel assistant and bather while he was attending Saint Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. Shortly after he started working as a kennel assistant, John knew his passion for dogs would propel him to a career that he would love. After graduating from Saint Ambrose University with a degree in Marketing, John set his goal for a career and his own business in the animal industry.
Not knowing exactly where to start, John decided to look into the grooming industry. He discovered a well known grooming school called The Academy of Dog Grooming Arts in Arlington Heights. While attending grooming school, John endured a 500+ hour program where he learned everything from nail trims and ear cleaning to breed standard haircuts and animal CPR. Following his graduation from grooming school, John began to build a clientele of loyal customers while working at grooming salons in St. Charles and Geneva. After 5 years of grooming, John decided to take the next step and open a salon of his own.

We strive to provide your pets with a calming, relaxing and enjoyable experience, while sustaining a professional and affordable groom. Our goal is to maintain a healthy relationship with our clients in order to satisfy the needs of your pets. Our pet salon and boutique use the latest and greatest in equipment and products to ensure a quality visit time after time. We use all-natural products that we know and trust.”
After 3 years of happy clients and happy dogs, John and his wife Lindsay, decided to take the next step and expanded the business to include a retail boutique specializing in high quality dog food, treats, toys and gifts. Just For Paws is proud to offer exclusive dog foods, treats and toys not found in your typical “big box” store. They offer grain-free, frozen raw and freeze-dried raw food and treats. Just For Paws is now proud to be a one stop shop for all your dog’s needs!
