Sammy is a gorgeous black-and-white Maine C**n gentleman, around 9 years old, with a personality that makes people fall in love almost instantly. His story began when a tiny kitten accidentally fell into a swimming pool and was rescued by friends of his family. What started as “just fostering a cute kitten” quickly turned into a decade of love, companionship, and constant cuddles.
His former family describes him as impossibly sweet and wonderfully clingy in the best possible way. Sammy always wants to be close, draped across your lap, curled beside you, or flopping dramatically onto his back directly in your path, daring you to stop everything and rub his face or belly. Personal space simply isn’t part of Sammy’s love language.
He’s calm, laid-back, and exceptionally well-mannered, with a chatty streak that keeps life entertaining. Sammy loves meeting strangers, exploring around the house, sunbathing during long afternoon snoozes, and admiring his own reflection like the handsome boy he knows he is. He “talks” often, especially when asking for affection, and his luxurious fur and expressive personality make him impossible to ignore.
After spending nearly his whole life with one family, Sammy is looking for a new home where he can continue being someone’s shadow, cuddle companion, and conversationalist. If you want a cat who truly bonds with his people and fills a home with warmth, personality, and affection, Sammy is ready to claim a spot across your lap and your heart.
Sammy is currently in a foster home while he gets some downtime and extra relaxation after not adjusting well to cafe life. He is now available for adoption!
