We're transforming beloved pets into works of art in our 2026 Pin Up Paws "THE GILDED PAW" Calendar Contest.

We are seeking the 13 most charming pets to feature on the cover and throughout the months of the year. These pets will receive a professional photoshoot with award-winning photographer Addison Fitzgerald.

Any of the participating pets could win the grand masterpiece spot on our cover or be celebrated as the portrait of the month.

You can sign up or vote today at www.pinuppaws.com. There's still time to enter and win! Submit your entry by Friday, July 18th, at 8:00 p.m. The contest will end on Saturday, July 19th, at 8:00 p.m.

Please note that 100% of all proceeds from submissions, vote donations, and sales will benefit the lifesaving programs of the St. Augustine Humane Society. We appreciate your support!

Happy National Kitten Day! 🐾

At the St. Augustine Humane Society, we celebrate the joy that kittens bring to our lives, and we are here to help you keep your furry friends healthy and happy at home.

Early spaying or neutering can begin when your kitten is two months old and weighs at least two pounds, which is essential for their health. We offer low-cost spay/neuter services at our clinic, which is trained by the ASPCA Spay/Neuter Alliance Clinic—the only one of its kind in St. Johns County.

Learn more at https://staughumane.org/lowcostspayneuter/spayneuterclinic.html. To schedule your pet or ask questions, call us at (904) 829-2737 extension 1 or email [email protected].

The leaderboard is constantly changing, and with just weeks left until the contest concludes on July 19th, there’s still plenty of time for anything to happen! Participants can submit their pet’s photo and rally votes to increase their chances.

To begin your journey to calendar stardom, submit your pet's photo at www.pinuppaws.com.

The Pin Up Paws calendar contest proudly highlights some of the most adorable pets in our community. Participants and supporters both recognize the significant impact of our signature fundraising event. Each vote directly contributes to funding essential charity services. Now in its 16th year, the calendar project continues to demonstrate its tremendous value for our organization's programs.

The sale of calendar ads to businesses helps cover printing costs, ensuring that every vote counts. Our dedicated graphic designer, Maribel Angel, and photographer, Addison Fitzgerald, have graciously donated their services throughout the history of the Pin Up Paws project. Every vote earned by these contestants helps support disadvantaged animals.

Here’s what your votes can achieve:
- 20 votes = one microchip with lifetime registration
- 50 votes = one cat neuter surgery
- 75 votes = annual vaccines for a dog or cat
- 100 votes = an annual wellness package
- 150 votes = large dog neuter
- 400 votes = lifesaving mass removal surgery
