Where does the time go?

It seems like yesterday Rayce was learning to walk and now he’s wrangling horses. Stuffy took great care of Rayce on our ride today. He went where he was pointed and went however fast or slow Rayce asked him too. These two make quite the team!

Slick is a gorgeous 5 year old Grulla gelding. Slick is well made and nice to look at. Slick is light in your hands and soft and supple throughout his body. Slick has kind eyes and has an in your pocket type personality. This gelding has so many good qualities and gets better every time we swing a leg over him. He loves attention, and is easy to ride. He stands around 14.3 hands. Slick is no stranger to a days work and has been rode out on the trails, used in the feed lot, sale barn and in the arena. Not only is Slick nice to watch in the arena but he knows how to maneuver his way around rocks, logs, brush, and other obstacles, and does it with ease. Slick picks up his leads, turns around nice, has a good stop to him and lopes nice circles. We have tracked the dummy with him and he does great. Slick would make a nice roping prospect. Slick is a gentleman to be around, has good manners on the ground and in the saddle. This nice gelding is no stranger to obstacle courses, whips, tarps, noodles, plastic bags, ropes, etc… he handles them all calmly and with ease. Slick has had different riders on him and he handles them all great. This gelding can go in any direction you want to take him. From the trails to the arena this gelding can do it all. Slick will stand tied like a gentleman, is good to trim, shoe and haul.

Montana is a 3 year old registered Appaloosa gelding. Not only does this guy have a full mane and tail but he is conformationally good looking and has the coolest looking color. Montana has always been an in your pocket gelding with a puppy dog personality. He is very friendly and enjoys being in peoples company. Montana will come over to the shake of a grain bucket or will be the first to meet you at the gate. Montana is confident, quiet, and willing to please. He goes where he’s pointed and rides off alone or in a group. Montana will lope nice collected circles, has a good stop, neck reins and is starting to spin nicely. Montana is light in your hands and throughout his body. He will side pass move his shoulders, hind quarters and he will lay down on cue. Montana is sacked out to a variety of things, will go over a teeter totter bridge, noodles obstacles, tarps, big balls, ATVs, etc… anything new we’ve ever thrown at him he accepts with confidence and ease. Montana has been started on the hot heels. He also drug heavy logs and is no stranger to weight in the horn or seeing things on the end of a rope. Montana has been rode both in the arena and outside. He steps out nicely, has been rode out in the pasture, out on the desert and on the trails. He will cross logs and water with no problems. He is sure footed knows how to pick up his feet when navigating through various different terrain. Montana has been rode by a variety of riders and has handled them all with ease. Montana stands around 14.3 hands. He will pick up all of his feet, stand tied, trailers and hauls with no problem.

Chex has been with us since he was a weanling! He sells April 4th & 5th at the Heber Valley Horse Sale.

Chex is a 4 year old AQHA palomino Gelding that is a beautiful as they come. We have raised Chex up from a weanling. Chex has a very friendly in your pocket type personality and is very sweet to be around. He is pastured in a 40 acre pasture and comes running over when he hears the grain bucket. Chex has been rode up in the mountains, on the trails, desert, on the ranch and in the arena. We have also had the pack saddle on him with weight in it and it’s never phased him. Chex has been easy to train and is accepting of new things. He is sacked out to obstacle courses, noodles, tarps, whips, logs, ATVs etc. He will lope nice circles on a loose rein or bride-less. He turns around nicely, and has a good stop on him. Chex is very light in your hands and has lots of natural athletic ability. Chex has roped the dummy and is tracking well. We’ve drug heavy logs on him and does good with weight on the horn and seeing things on the end of a rope. Chex is well put together, is straight and correct, and has good feet on him. This gelding has a good mind and is ready to finish the way you like. Whether you’re looking to show him off in the arena, make him a rope horse, use him on the ranch, or out on the trails you can’t go wrong. He’s beautiful to look at and will fit just about any type of riding you choose to do. Chex has been rode by a variety of riders and handles each of them great. Chex stands 14.3 hands and is one of the prettiest palominos with his white socks, white mane and tail and perfect blaze. This guy is sure to get you noticed wherever you take him. He is an in your pocket type gelding, is very friendly and will meet you at the gate or in the field. Pete has had different levels of riders on him and has taken care of all of them. Pete rides around nice and quiet. He lopes nice collected circles and carries himself gracefully. Pete has a nice level headset and is fun to ride. He spins around correctly and will plant it when asked to stop. Pete has been roped on and would make an excellent roping prospect for anyone looking to go that direction. He has enough get up and go to get a job done but then will settle right back down and is a gentleman. Pete is sacked out, will go over a teeter totter bridge, noodles, obstacles, tarps, big balls, drones, ATVs, dogs, etc… Pete has been rode both in the arena and outside. He has been rode out in the pasture, out on the desert and on the trails in high country. He will cross logs and water with no problems. Ridge is a 5yr old AQHA gelding. Pretty is as pretty does and Ridge has it all, he has the Wow factor standing a solid 15.1 hands tall and all the confirmation you could pack into one. Ridge is a beautiful eye catching grey gelding with 4 matching white socks, he has a gentle disposition and a quiet personality. He has great ground manners, is good with his feet and easy to shoe. Ridge is a breeze to catch, saddles up great and moves off quiet enough that I believe most anyone from beginner on up could get along with. Ridge is currently being used as a lesson horse and has given rides to our 86 year old grandpa. Ridge has a one hand neck rein, lopes nice collected circles, side passes and moves off leg pressure. Ridge also knows how to lay down and stand at a mounting block for easy mounting. Ridge has been lightly started on the roping end. Ridge had been on the ranch and in the hills. He knows where to place his feet in all different types of terrain. Ridge is sacked out to lots of different obstacles, balls, drones, bridges, ATVs etc.. This is a really nice sound and sane gelding that is in the prime of his life. Ridge has many good years ahead of him and is one everyone in the family can enjoy riding.
