Land of Misfits Dog Rescue, (501)c3 has a new "resident". Her name is Bella. She is a five year old Border Collie/Italian Greyhound mix. She is very smart, likes dogs, and loves people. Hey everyone, remember the Texas Roadhouse fundraiser flyer Land of Misfits Dog Rescue posted earlier? Well after several hours, standing in front of this restaurant handing out these flyers, we were able to collect over $400.00 at the Texas Roadhouse restaurant in Ammon, ID! With hard work, determination, many friends and supporters, Land of Misfits Dog Rescue can help many dogs in need! In "need" means rescue, food, vaccines, vet visits, building maintenance, transport, utilities etc. So THANK YOU Texas Roadhouse in Ammon, ID for all of your help and support. Bacon from Land of Misfits Dog Rescue loves two things: being at the Idaho Falls Saturday Market and helping his friends. Join Bacon August 16 and donate cat litter. What!? CAT litter?! Yes, Blackfoot Animal Shelter is in dire need of litter so Land of Misfits Dog Rescue thought it would be nice to help out a local shelter. A friend in need is the friend to help. So come by, donate litter to help the cats or a Venmo donation works too and while you're here, give ol' Bacon a belly rub. Belly rubs are always free! lol lol

Oliver and I, at Land of Misfits Dog Rescue a (501)c3, would like to ask all of our friends to kindly help out with food and monetary donations for the Blackfoot Animal Shelter in Blackfoot, ID. They have a beautiful new facility and are doing a great job with taking care of so many dogs and cats! The food donation is self explanatory. The cash donations are asked for, to build a new back yard for these pups to run and stay physically and mentally healthy. Please help Blackfoot Animal Shelter to help the animals! Texas Roadhouse in Idaho Falls and Land of Misfits Dog Rescue, (501)c3, are sharing the day to raise money for our rescue dogs! Come to Texas Roadhouse in Idaho Falls anytime today, August 7, 2025 and show the waitress this flyer. Texas Roadhouse will donate the equivalent of 10% of your bill to Land of Misfits Dog Rescue. Please come and enjoy the great food and atmosphere and help give a dog a second chance! Please share this with all of your family, friends and neighbors. Kona from Land of Misfits Dog Rescue was adopted to a loving couple and their pup Apollo. She will fit in very well with their active family, caring hearts and, not to mention, their Big, Grassy back yard! Kona will love that yard and her new family. Thank you for adopting a rescue/shelter dog and giving them another chance!

Do you remember Caramel with Land of Misfits Dog Rescue? She and her friend, Kona, were strays found in Roberts, ID. We do not know how long she was out there, but along the way, and since nobody cared, she acquired an ear infection. On top of that, she also has polyps in her ears that interfere with getting water out and fresh, dry air in. Hence, the constant ear infection. The vet has estimated the removal of the polyps to be $450.00 to $500.00! Caramel is only five years old and most definitely worth the surgery. Without it, she will continue to have severe and constant ear infections. If we can just get 10 people donating $50.00 each or more people donating whatever you can afford, we can get this poor girl the help she deserves and has needed for so long.
