Our youngest Australian Cattle Dog!
Many people ask me when I first became passionate about this breed and why I love sharing my knowledge of them with others. While my partner grew up with Australian Cattle Dogs on his family’s ranch, I didn’t discover them until later in life. Like many, I was immediately captivated by their intelligence, savvy nature, and unwavering loyalty.

However, it wasn’t until I witnessed the incredible bond between my children and our first heeler that I truly understood how special these dogs are. That experience solidified my passion for the breed and my desire to educate others about them.

Patience and perseverance are key when training an Australian Cattle Dog, but the reward is beyond measure. A well-trained ACD is not just a companion—it’s a force.

Coco our chocolate girl.

What makes her special? Her love. She loves to please and loves to play. She’s a talker! 😂 She tries to bring the ball back but she stares it down to make sure it doesn’t talk back. She’s tied with Rocky/Dutton for their second litter and in about 5-6 weeks we should know if it was successful. We love her very much and hoping for a healthy pregnancy!

For those of you who’ve been following, this handsome here is Dutton (previously Rocky) and he use to be ours.
Sending him to his new home was very difficult but knowing he would be in great hands at the Soqui Ortiz Cattle Ranch made it easier.
FORTUNATELY, and I are coming together to bring another litter of gorgeous puppies with him and Coco our chocolate double masked female! Our waiting list is closed at the moment but when the pups are born and those who’ve reserved their spot choose, we’ll share who remains up for grabs.
Healthy, great temperament, great height and started on basic training before they leave our home. 💪🏽
