In just the past week, I’ve come across two rattlesnakes — and I’m incredibly thankful my pup was trained and alerted us both times! I’ve always done avoidance training every other year “just in case,” and this year, it paid off TWICE in real life.
At Pura Vida Pet Care, your pet’s safety is just as important as their health and happiness. That’s why we’re partnering with professional dog trainer Jill Cruz and local to offer private Rattlesnake or Colorado River/Sonoran Desert Toad Avoidance Training.

🕗 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
📍 East Side – near Houghton & Escalante
💲 $125 per dog (Choose either rattlesnake OR toad training)

⭐️ Everyone please welcome our new employee Sabrina! You may have seen her at some of the markets as well as events! Sabrina has over 5 years of experience training dogs and 3 years of experience working in the grooming industry. She has her own business as well, make sure to check it out, I will tag it down below!

⭐️A little more about Sabrina, she has 2 black labs named Raven and Badger. Raven is her service dog and competes in FastCat. She has won many titles and is getting ready to retire soon. Badger is still very young and learning to take over for raven. She is starting to learn to compete in sports and will be doing FastCat and Dock Diving starting the end of the year!
