Whitney and her six kittens — Myra, Elsie, Otis, Robby, Remy & Wyatt — are ready for the next chapter of their lives.

They’ve grown, played and learned together, and each has developed a personality all their own. Now it’s time to find the loving families who will make them part of their lives. ❤️

At Animal Rescue League, kittens are adopted in pairs so they have a companion to play, grow and cuddle with.

You're Never Too Old for a Little Adventure 💜🐾

Daphne is a little over 18 years old, but apparently she hasn't gotten the message that she's supposed to slow down!

She still makes her way to the top of our five-foot cat tree — and when she gets there, she even finds time for a cuddle with her friend Darby.

We couldn't resist sharing this sweet moment between these two. Sometimes a picture really does say it all. 💜

🐾Louie's Journey Begins 🐾

Today Louie had his initial rehabilitation evaluation. While we can't cure his torn ligament or severe arthritis, our goal is to reduce his pain, improve his mobility, and give him the best quality of life possible.

🐾 Meet Alfie

We first noticed Alfie wandering through the parking lot next door to Animal Rescue League with a large growth on the side of his neck.

After safely trapping him, we discovered his ear was tipped, indicating he had previously been trapped, neutered, and released. Today, Alfie is safe in our care.

Our veterinarian determined the growth was a fluid-filled cyst. We drained it, but unfortunately, it has returned.

Alfie now needs surgery to remove the cyst and help keep it from coming back.

We believe every animal deserves more than simply surviving.

A Day in Rescue at ARL

Today included:

✓ Post-surgical checkups

✓ Spay and neuter appointments

✓ Medication administration

✓ Cleaning and feeding

✓ Monitoring recovery

✓ Maintaining the health and well-being of our sanctuary cats

✓ Continuing improvements to our facility

✓ Planning for future adoptions and foster-to-adopt placements

Rescue doesn't happen in a single day. It happens every day.

Behind every animal is a great deal of care, planning, medical treatment, cleaning, maintenance, and commitment from our all-volunteer team.
