Sweet, shy Sophie, an Irish setter doodle cross spends most of her groom with her tail tucked 😢.She has definitely improved since her first groom but she, her owners, and I are still working on her confidence. Fortunately the grooming goes very smoothly despite her worry. She responds well to gentle affection from me but there's nothing like the relief she shows once her owner returns! Such a beauty❤️.

Just giving everyone a heads up that the shop will be closed next week for our summer vacation. You can still contact me for scheduling, via text, voicemail, email etc. August is pretty much booked the last 2 weeks, I can probably fit in some nail trims and potential grooms of some smaller dogs. September still has plenty of openings.

This handsome doodle boy is Winston! His coat mats easily so he is kept on the shorter side to keep it manageable. He is a gem on the table, nothing rattles him and he is just a big love!

Sandy came in today with loads of extra fur to give me. She is a good girl who fortunately doesn't have the 'I need to sit all the time' trait most do when I'm trying to tidy up their behind😄.
I hope you all are enjoying the gorgeous summer weather but keep a close eye on your pups, July can be rough. They can't sweat like we do to cool themselves. If they are panting and changing positions frequently they are uncomfortable and at risk from overheating. Keep them hydrated and have a cool area of the house they can retreat to as needed. And you could always share some of your ice cream 😉

Happy New Year!!
To be honest I've never been a fan of New Year's. I think more than a birthday I feel older this day, because a whole, true year is history. I hope that you all don't feel like me lol! The past year was fraught with intense political division, but I will say no matter your stance I know you love your dogs. Politics and business don't mix well so I'll move on!
2025 had way too many "earn their wings"😪Jake (from fall '24), Bruiser, Bently, Percy, Murphy, Oliver, Charlie, Blue, Jasper, Tad, and Trapper. They were all amazing living beings deeply loved and missed.
What's new for '26? New pricing goes into effect tomorrow. I'll be dropping the business email as some of you had issues contacting me. It is all supposed to forward to my personal email, so I will just use [email protected]. I'll have new business cards made with updates, you can also find updated contact info here on the about page. The schedule will stay the same, Tue, Wed, Fri and Sat. Thank you all for your continued support❤️.

I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving with family, friends and pets! While not a cheerful topic, I wanted to notify you all of price increases starting in Jan. Depending on the size of your pup, it will be between a 10-20% increase overall.This gives you some time to check the surrounding groomers if you decide, but I really hope you stick with me! Even with the increase, I believe I'm still below the current local pricing. I still will be offering the senior and veteran discounts. Feel free to private message me questions about specific pricing. There is only a handful of December appointments available at this time.
