Attention all parents, grandparents, and guardians! You don’t want to miss this event on Tuesday June 2nd at 6:00! We at TCFM feel led by the Lord to air this program at our church that is packed with a panel of experts and law enforcement that specializes in the dangers of online gaming. It’s real folks and you as parents or guardians need to know the severity of what is out there! Bring the kids too! This is not a church service!! Tomorrow is particularly close to my heart with it being Pentecost Sunday because of my upbringing in a couple of Pentecostal churches where I went at times with my mawmaw Noel. That is where I discovered that Pentecost is real!! And I’m mostly referring to the mighty Baptism in the Holy Spirit with speaking in tongues being the evidence that one has received this mighty gift from God! It’s the most controversial, misunderstood “way” of the church body. This “way” is the book of Acts church and it was never supposed to end! The book of Acts church is the church that Jesus Christ Himself built. The reason this “way” is not accepted is because it demands growth from the saint, it demands Holiness from the saint, and it demands total self-denial of the saint. And, if I may quickly add, it’s one of the many benefits of the Finished Work of the Cross that was paid in full by the blood of Jesus Christ! It’s a gift from God that is meant to enhance our love for Him, our boldness to be witnesses for Him, and to help in our service to Him! I like to put it this way, you’ll do everything better in your servitude to Christ after you receive this mighty gift! I saw the Power of Pentecost in my mawmaw as she would get in the Spirit and run and shout, when just a few minutes before that i walked in church with her slowly on a cane. I would watch the anointing come over her as she sang and played the piano in that old style of rhythm, and watch her be taken to a spiritual place or mindset of total submission to Jesus as she sang songs about Him and His Wonderful Works! But we can’t spiritually live on those memories, on mawmaw’s anointing, we have to have fresh anointing everyday for ourselves and we at The Cross Family Ministries, by the total dependence on God’s Holy Spirit, are keeping that “way” alive today!! Come join us in the morning as I preach/teach on this much important Gift that Jesus commanded we as believers have, no you don’t need this gift to make it to Heaven but you sure need it for your service, impactful service, for God! Come listen to Biblical evidence of how it all started and understand that it’s still much needed for today. You are welcome! Who knows you might just leave with a Power from God that money can’t buy, and the world can’t give it to ya, the only requirement is to be saved! And if you’re not saved, well you’ll be the most important person there! Salvation is God’s greatest gift to the world and the Baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues is God’s greatest gift to the church! Service starts at 10:30/2219 Dry Rd.
