Today I had the honor of being this sweet girl’s very first groomer. 💕 In just a few hours, she completely stole my heart—and somehow, I think I stole a little piece of hers too.

She was rescued after being found alone in a park, and now she’s looking for the forever family she deserves. Despite everything she’s been through, she’s full of love, gentle kisses, and so much trust.

Some dogs don’t trust just anyone—and Indy is one of them.

She struggles with new people, but today she chose to trust me. That doesn’t happen by force. It comes from confidence, patience, and the energy you bring into the room.

Anyone can groom a dog. Building enough trust for an anxious dog to feel safe is something that takes time, experience, and respect.

So proud of you, Indy. Thank you for trusting me. 🐾🤍
