Happy International Assistance Dog Week! 🐾💙 It is an absolute privilege to care for the guide, hearing, psychiatric, and mobility assistance dogs that visit PetWellClinic.

We know these dogs are highly trained professionals, and we treat them that way—giving them space, moving mindfully, and always communicating with their handler first. To the handlers who trust us with their working dog’s health: thank you. We're always here when you need us!

Here's something we want every pet parent to know: you don't need a "real reason" to ask us something. 🐾

Wondering if a behavior is normal? Curious about a product you saw online? Not sure if that thing your pet does is a quirk or a concern? Ask us. That's genuinely what we're here for.

You know your pet better than anyone, and a quick question today can save a bigger worry later. We'd always rather you ask and find out it's nothing, than wonder and not ask.

Walk in anytime — bring your pet, bring your questions, bring both.

If you and your dog have been logging some serious trail miles this summer — good for both of you. Here's a quick post-hike check before you call it a day. 🥾🐾

Check paw pads for cuts, cracks, or anything stuck between the toes (burrs and small rocks are sneakier than you'd think). Check for ticks — run your hands along the legs, ears, and belly. And offer water early and often, even if your dog "seems fine."

If you notice limping, a paw that seems tender, or anything embedded that won't come out easily — walk in. We can take care of it quickly, no appointment needed.

Happy trails. 🐾

It’s Pet Hydration Month!

With the summer heat in full swing, keeping our furry best friends properly hydrated is more important than ever. Dehydration in pets can creep up quickly and lead to serious health issues if left unchecked.

Do you know what to look for? Here are a few common warning signs that your dog or cat might need a water boost:

- Lethargy or low energy

- Dry, sticky gums (instead of wet and pink)

- Sunken, dull eyes

- Loss of skin elasticity (if you gently pinch the skin between their shoulders and it doesn't immediately snap back)

Pro-Tip from our Vet Team: Keep multiple bowls of fresh, cool water around the house, consider adding a bit of wet food to their diet for extra moisture, and always pack a portable water bottle for outdoor adventures!

If your pet is showing signs of mild dehydration or just seems a little under the weather from the heat, don’t stress or wait weeks for an appointment. Simply walk right into PetWellClinic.

Our team is here to assess your pet’s wellness, check their hydration levels, and provide the prompt, preventative care they need to stay safe all summer long. 🐶🐱

No appointments, no hassle. Just walk in!

First visit jitters are real — for pets AND people. So here's exactly what to expect when you walk in for the first time. 🐾

You'll check in at the front desk (or online before you even arrive). We'll grab some basic info about your pet. Then it's just a normal wait — usually shorter than you'd think — before a vet tech brings you back.

Your vet will examine your pet, talk through what they're seeing, and tell you exactly what they recommend and what it costs. You decide what makes sense. No pressure, no surprises.

That's genuinely it. No paperwork marathon, no thirty-minute intake form. Just walk in when you're ready.

How is your pet handling the July heat? ☀️🐾

Comment below:
☀️ Thriving — born for summer, would live outside if we let them
😅 Managing — needs regular water reminders and a fan
🛋️ Fully horizontal on the coldest tile in the house and NOT MOVING

For the tile-lovers: valid strategy, honestly. Keeping cool is the goal.

Hot tip from our team: if you can't hold your hand on the pavement for 7 seconds, it's too hot for your dog's paws. Stick to grass or go early morning and evening. 🐾

Walk in anytime for summer wellness checks or heat-related concerns. 💚

Happy National Kitten Day! 🐱✨

If you've recently added a kitten to your life — congrats on your best decision. If you've been meaning to get that first vet visit on the calendar and haven't gotten there yet — today is your sign.

Kittens need their vaccine series early. The sooner you start, the better protected they are. And you never need an appointment — just walk in with your little one and we'll take great care of them.

July is National Lost Pet Prevention Month 🐾

When did you last confirm your pet's microchip registration is up to date? Not just implanted — registered, with your current phone number and address.

Walk in this week and we'll scan your pet's chip to confirm it's reading properly. Takes about 30 seconds. The kind of thing you'll be really glad you did.

We're here — no appointment needed.
