French bulldogs used to be all the rage a few years ago. Nowadays we always have 1-3 in our rescue that were found as strays. Thelma and Louise were found together so we named them appropriately.

Otis and Homer got a little time out of the rescue yesterday when they were taken on a doggy day date. You can tell how excited they get to feel like real dogs when they’re out in the world ❤️

We have two beautiful Doberman girls right now. Nova is only about one year-old and Veda is still a puppy less than one year old. They are both spayed and up-to-date on their vaccination. If you are a Doberman lover or have been looking for one, please consider one of these girls. They are both super friendly, get along well with other dogs, and love to burn off that puppy energy with long walks.

We were hoping that it wouldn’t come to this, but the skyrocketing price of rent and the decreasing number of adoptions has led us to have to become a foster-based rescue only. The rent of our facility is so much overhead that we feel could be better put toward helping more animals. With that being said, we desperately need fosters to take in the animals we currently have.

PLEASE consider becoming a foster. Most animals are adopted within a few months, and even quicker when the foster is helping to network the animal. So, it wouldn’t be an extremely long commitment. Also, everything would be provided, you would simply be giving the dog a space to be in before they are adopted.

How could you not fall in love with this face? Fred is a Dutch Shepherd mix and has been with us for a ling time. He is a volunteer and staff FAVORITE. He is the SWEETEST, most well-behaved boy. He gets along well with everyone, walks great on a leash, and isn’t reactive to cats. He is two years old and a bit of a big boy at 70 pounds, but that just means there is more to love.

Hot girl summer in full effect. Petunia and Eloise got some time out of the rescue today because a volunteer took them on a day date. We are INCREDIBLY thankful to volunteers that take our dogs out of the rescue for a little bit. You have no idea what a difference it makes in their lives. If anyone is interested in taking our dogs out for a few hours, just send us a message🤗
