VIDA Rescue We are a non-profit rescue dedicated to ending the suffering of animals. We operate through a network of dedicated and amazing volunteers.

VIDA (Volunteers in Defense of Animals) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization founded in 2015 by a group of passionate volunteers who have been working for years to end the mistreatment and suffering of animals. Our mission is to protect and help dogs and cats from homelessness, neglect, abuse, cruelty, and abandonment. We provide medical care, shelter, and food, for homeless animals. We sponsor spay

and neuter campaigns for communities in need within Mexico & Guatemala. Our vision is to see the end of mistreatment & exploitation of animals and assist each & every one into a loving home.

I’m not sure what’s going on lately, but we have three adorable French bulldogs at the rescue. Freddy has been with us as long as and I still don’t understand why he hasn’t been adopted. He is a volunteer favorite. All three have great personalities and would be great in any home.

We had so much fun at the Brea Pet Expo this weekend. There were so many amazing pet vendors and rescues. We were so thankful to the great families that adopted some of our dogs. It's always bittersweet to see the dogs that we love leave the rescue and start their new lives.
