We welcomed a very special honorary surgery team member this week, K9 Brooks with the Austin Police Department!

K9 Brooks came to Monarch for bilateral TPLO surgery after tearing both of his cranial cruciate ligaments (similar to ACL injuries in people). Not only was he the perfect patient, but he also insisted on helping us get ready for surgery by trying on a scrub cap.

We’re honored to be part of K9 Brooks’ care team and can’t wait to see him back on duty doing what he does best.

Dusty came to us for a CCL injury (similar to an ACL tear in people). Thanks to our skilled staff at Monarch, Dusty is on the road to recovery for the years to come❤️
