Thank you to our amazing community for all of the donations. This represents just a few days of items we’ve collected from everyone to support the shelters affected by the floods. We are overwhelmed with the kindness and generosity everyone has showed us. Thank you to Shelby for organizing these amazing efforts!

Supporting Animal Shelters After the Texas Floods!

Dear Dogwood Family,

We hope this message finds you and your family well.

We wanted to take a moment to share something close to our hearts. In the wake of the recent floods in Texas, thousands of animals have been displaced and local shelters are overwhelmed.

One of our amazing team members, Shelby Steindorff, has taken the initiative to start a donation drive to support these shelters. On behalf of Shelby and Dogwood Animal Clinic, we wanted to invite our extended family to join us in making a difference.

We're collecting donations of:

Unopened pet food and treats (dry and canned)
Blankets, towels, bedding, beds
Cleaning supplies, gloves, p*e pads
Leashes, collars, and crates/carriers
Pet toys
If you'd like to contribute, please drop off items in the clinic Monday-Friday, 9 am to 6 pm, and Saturday, 9 am to 1 pm. We are taking donations now through July 16th, 2025.

These contributions will be donated to shelters in the Georgetown, Leander, and Austin areas.

Thank you for being part of our community and helping us spread a little more kindness — one paw at a time.

Happy Friday everyone! We are experiencing a technical issue with our internet causing a disruption with our phones and computers. We are working to fix this now!

Update: We got out power back! However, spectrum is currently experiencing some outages that have affected our clinic. We are without internet and phones for now. We will continue to update you as soon as we receive internet!
