Website: allaboutcatsrescue.org We have cats at the Roswell PetSmart location that have been saved from living outdoors, from high kill shelters, and from families that can no longer care for them. Adoption events are held every Saturday at the Roswell PetSmart from 1pm to 5pm. Additional adoption times can be made by appointment only. Our cats at the Roswell PetSmart can be viewed any day of the week but if you would like to meet one of our cats, and are considering, please contact us via Facebook messenger, Instagram or our website.

Ahoy! Captain Nemo has surfaced! ⚓

He is sorry he is late, mateys. Twenty thousand leagues? Amateur hour! Captain Nemo sailed 80,000 leagues under the sea hunting for adventure and tasty sea creatures, and he completely missed Halloween.

But Nemo has some wisdom from the deep: the best treats are scored at the 50% off candy sales today.

And even BETTER treats? You’re not too late for these!

Nemo is a gorgeous, dark gray boy with green eyes and sooo much love to give. He’s chatty when he greets you, jumps incredibly high for “da bird,” and loves to curl up in your lap on a blanket for TV night. He’s smart, too, and will do almost anything for a squeezable treat. Nemo can be a little “spicy,” so he needs to be your one and only cat, ideally in an adult household. He’s fully vetted, vaxed, neutered, and chipped, and ready to dock at his furever home.

Route 31: Candy or Bust!

Minnie & Toodles are dressing up as Thelma & Louise. They’ve packed their sunglasses, tied on their scarves, and hit the road for the ultimate girls’ trip. Their map has only a few stops: snacks, nap spots, and their forever home.

This mother-daughter duo has been with us a while, and they’re ready to make their great escape to a purr-manent home! Minnie is the mama. Her passions are being brushed and eating, and she purrs loudly for both. She still loves chasing feather toys! Toodles is her daughter. She has buttery-soft fur and a gentle, quiet heart. She loves being pet and held, and she perks right up for toys and yummy wet food.

They started their life together outside, fending for themselves until a kind college student rescued them. Now they’re ready for a home with older kids and/or gentle kitties, and lots of patience and love. Good cats take big adventures, and their biggest one is still ahead.

Normally we have adoptions every Saturday but since Halloween falls on a Saturday, we are moving adoptions to Sunday, November 1 from 12-3:30 pm at the Adoption Center inside the Roswell PetSmart. Schle-meow! Schlima-zzz! Tuna-pfeffer Incorporated!”

Angel & Coco are out trick-or-treating as Laverne & Shirley, the best gal pals in Milwaukee! They clocked out of the Purrshore Brewery bottling line, tied on their polka-dot scarves, and are ready to paw-ty.

Like the TV duo, these sisters are a perfect pair:

Coco is the social one. She’s an affectionate cuddler who bonds fast, loves her people, and has to investigate everything.

Angel is the easygoing one. She’s gentle and laid-back, and she loves a cozy spot near her favorite humans until a toy comes along. Then it’s game on!

They’re bonded sisters hoping to go home together and make their dreams come true! Doing it their way!

Holy cuddles, Batman! The Cat-Signal is lit, and Catham’s Dynamic Duo is out trick-or-treating! Their utility belts are stocked with fish treats and ready for more.

These real-life siblings began their origin story at a Brookhaven gas station, where they ran right up to the person who’d become their foster. Batman’s mask is built in, and so is his nonstop purr motor. Robin is a calico cuddle bug whose superpower is being held. Their dream is a forever Batcave together, for double the cuddles and double the purrs. POW! 💥

Candy corn may be the most debated treat of Halloween, but Toph? She’s 100% sweet, no debate required!

Toph (fittingly known as Toffee) is a torbie with a calm presence and a no-nonsense attitude. Like her Avatar namesake, she’s independent, observant, and doesn't chase the spotlight. She’s watched her littermates and plenty of other kittens find their homes, and now it’s finally her turn. Sometimes the sweetest treat is the last one left in the bowl.

Her eye looks a little different, but our vets say it doesn’t bother her one bit. She takes her daily drops like a champ. Give her a little patience, and she’ll show you her soft side: an adorable chirp when she plays with her favorite tiny red puffball, followed by a visit for head scratches (bonus points for the base of her tail).

Make way for Poseidon, king of the seven seas and the seven laps! Our boy Poseidon is out trick-or-treating as his mighty namesake, trident and crown included. But don’t let the royal look fool you. This god of the sea is really the king of cuddles.

Poseidon may start out a little shy, but still waters run sweet. Be gentle and give him time, and he’ll soon wave hello and become your best friend. Once he does, he’s not picky about where you pet him. He wants ALL the pets, from head to tail! When he’s not ruling the waves, he’s bobbing after his ping-pong balls like a cat on a mission.

The name’s Zee. Agent Zee.

Happy National Cat Day! Our secret agent Azzaro is out trick-or-treating in his finest tux, and his mission is simple: collect treats, deliver kisses, and remind everyone to celebrate the cats in their lives today.

Azzaro was named after a fancy cologne, but his foster family quickly learned he’s anything but suave. Bond would never! Instead, he’s funny, FAST, fearless, and the life of every party. Think of him as The Spy Who Kissed Me: endless kisses, no permission requested.

His origin story belongs on the big screen: From Hall County with Love. He was found at animal control with a shattered pelvis, healed in foster care, and now zips around with a signature swagger all his own. He’d do best as an only pet, with docile cats, or with dogs he can wrestle. And those eyes? For Your Eyes Only.

Abbi is all dolled up for Halloween as the one and only Dolly Parton: big hair, pink rhinestones, fringe, and a whole lot of heart. Which Dolly song is your favorite? Tell us in the comments!

Dolly Parton gave the world some unforgettable songs. But behind the stage lights and the rhinestones was a woman who loved animals with the same fierce devotion she poured into her music. Her incredible legacy includes a lifetime of helping animals. Dolly Parton brought so much love, light, kindness, and pawsitivity to the world. May her inspurration live on fur-ever.

Abbi has a lot in common with her idol. She has a big heart, she never met a stranger, and she shines brightest when she has an audience. She’s a trusting, affectionate sweetheart who loves attention, and she’ll make sure to tell you when it’s time for pets and cuddles. Her daily schedule? Playing 9 to 5 (laser pointers, string, boxes, and wrestling with her kitty friends), then cuddling 5 to 9. This gentle, social girl is simply asking for a home full of love. Taj is out trick-or-treating, and he picked the perfect costume: Spider-Meow! Do you have a black cat in your life? Share a photo of them in the comments. We’d love to celebrate them on National Black Cat Day!

Taj (like the Taj Mahal) was born for this role. He literally climbs the walls, and his “spidey sense” goes off any time a closet opens or a bag hits the floor. He has to know what’s inside. Whatever you’re doing, Taj is doing it too, and he’ll tell you all about it, because he is VERY vocal. His other superpowers include being whip smart, extremely nosy, and so sweet that you’ll forgive him every time you catch him somewhere he shouldn’t be.

Today we celebrate the innate beauty and value of black cats and encourage adoption, as they are often overlooked because of silly superstitions. Black cats are good luck, and we believe everyone deserves the chance to be owned by a precious mini panther!
