Welcome Derek - Coming soon!!

Derek is a 10-month-old GSD who is getting settled with his foster.

Updates to come once Derek sees our vet and is feeling better and available for adoption.

💥Short term fosters wanted💥

When a foster family is on vacation we need temporary placement, so we do not have to board a dog. Time can be 1-2 weeks.

Think of it as a long sleepover!!

Maybe you haven't secured those summer plans yet and can help host a foster dog? Please tag family and friends who may be able to help.

Since we do not have a facility, we are looking for good foster homes who can take in a dog in need.

A foster home is an approved home who can care for a dog in need according to our policies.

Foster homes must meet all the criteria that an adopter meets ( i.e. reference checks, home visit).

💙Freya your new best friend💙

Freya is four years old but a puppy at heart. Like many GSDs, she wants to follow you everywhere and be as close as possible to you. She is medium energy drive and would do well in an outdoorsy active home. She loves squeaky tennis balls and nearly every treat or chew she’s given.

She is to date on vet care, spayed and is housebroken.

Freya is learning manners, she will put her front paws on the counters and she will jump up on people but responds to correction quickly. Her new home will need to continue her training. She learns quickly and responds to praise.

Freya could do well with another dog her same age, size, and activity level. She could also do well as the only dog in the home. However, Freya has prey drive so a home with no small dogs or cats.

Freya would do best in a home without smaller children.
