Grizzly is one of those dogs that makes everyone smile — loyal, goofy, and so full of love. 💛 He’s been patiently waiting at Fayette County Animal Rescue for his person to finally notice him.

He’s great with people, loves to play, and would make an amazing companion for someone who enjoys walks, snuggles, and good company. 🦴 All he’s missing is a home to call his own!

🚨💔 11 Cats Rescued in Fayette County 💔🚨

Over the weekend, we took in 11 cats and kittens from our local community who were in desperate need of help. These poor babies are severely malnourished, battling weakened immune systems, and will require intensive vet care and support to heal. 😿💉

Despite their condition, they are incredibly sweet and trusting — proof of how resilient and loving animals can be, even after hardship. 💕

A HUGE thank you to our compassionate neighbors and community members who helped get these cats to safety. You made all the difference. 🙏

🐾 Sweet Tripod Alert! 🐾

Beautiful Artimiss stopped by Somerville Animal Hospital today for her wellness check! 💕 This brave girl may only have three legs, but she doesn’t let that slow her down one bit. She’s a happy, affectionate pup who loves people and enjoys exploring the world at her own pace.

Artimiss came to us after suffering an old injury that led to the amputation of her front leg. Thanks to amazing care and her resilient spirit, she’s fully healed and thriving! Her checkup today was just to make sure everything still looks great and that her joints are staying strong as she continues living her best tripod life. 🩺✨

Artimiss is around 5 years old and weighs about 50 lbs. She’s smart, loving, and ready to be someone’s whole world. She’d do best in a home with a fenced yard, no cats, and either as the only dog or with calm companions after a slow introduction.

Razzle’s foster siblings — FCAR alumni Biggie Smalls and Poppi — are ready for bed… but this silly pup just isn’t quite there yet! 😆

He’s still learning the nighttime routine — where the toys go, what “bedtime” means, and how to snuggle up instead of zoom around. It’s hard learning how to be a big dog, but he’s doing his best and making his foster family laugh every night. ❤️

Fayette County Animal Rescue is a no kill, non profit animal shelter serving Fayette County, TN. We have a physical shelter which is located on 5 beautiful acres in Rossville, TN. Our primary focus is helping animals in extreme cases of abuse, neglect, injury or abandonment. We house between 70-100 cats and dogs at our shelter and in foster homes.
