We’re a little under half way to the low end estimate of the care Chevy needs to treat and remove the mass on his spine! 😭

The mass near his spine has grown to the size of a golf ball, is fixed in place, and is showing absolutely no signs of moving out…despite our first attempt to evict.

His test results? INCONCLUSIVE. 🙃

No obvious cancer cells or infection were found, which sounds great until you get to the part where CANCER STILL HASN’T BEEN RULED OUT.

Our next step is a biopsy and surgical removal, but because this thing decided to set up camp on top of his SPINE, we don’t yet know how complicated surgery will be.

We found new foster homes for the littles!

Two (Waldo and Conan) are coming up north tomorrow thanks to Pilots N Paws ✈️

They will promptly be transported via car to the vet for updated vaccinations, a HW test, and pre-exam for neuters.

Carson will get the same royal treatment on Friday, but via car (or dragon, if one is available).

From being hesitant to even step onto the slat mill to now walking with confidence at a steady, controlled pace, Mike is showing us what a little patience and encouragement can do! Now, this sweet 2-year-old Pit Bull mix is looking for his forever home! 🏡❤️ Mike is available for adoption through 3 Eye Blind Rescue . He knows basic commands like sit, stay, come, and paw! He gets along well with dogs his size and could make a great companion for another pup looking for a playmate. He also does well with kids!

A little late to announce but Stryker, now Lucky, from Devore Shelter is officially ADOPTED!!

He’s recovering from his neuter but doing wonderful and loving his furrrever home! 🎉🥳👏

We are so sad to announce that Boot passed away this morning after coming home from the vet. His prognosis was guarded, but we wanted to try and do what we could to give him a chance.

His amazing foster was with him the whole time and did everything she could. Neonatal kittens are very sensitive and can decline suddenly and quickly.

Boots LOVED to eat, snuggle and play with his sister, and cozy up with his foster Mama.

Please keep Mackenzie and Boots in your thoughts.

🚨 URGENT: BOOTS NEEDS YOUR HELP 🚨

This tiny 5-week-old kitten, Boots, is fighting for his life.

Boots was rushed to the emergency vet this morning after becoming lethargic and not doing well. X-rays revealed he is severely impacted with stool. The veterinary team administered an e***a, fluids, pain medication, and sent us home with instructions to provide subcutaneous fluids every 8–10 hours around the clock while we hope and pray his little body can recover.

At just 5 weeks old, he should be worrying about playing and growing—not fighting this hard to survive.

His emergency vet bill today is already over $1,400, and his care is ongoing. As a rescue, we never turn away animals in need, but medical cases like this add up quickly.
