3. 7th-graders! It is now time to start planning your East Coast trip to Boston, Washington D.C., and New York. In one trip, you’ll take a speed boat around the Statue of Liberty, see the original copies of the Declaration of Independence and Constitution, and throw tea into the Boston Harbor. There will be a parent meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 6 p.m. on Zoom to go over details for the 2028 trip. Please see Mr. DeMos in room 16 with questions.

4. Today’s the day! It’s Family Picnic Day! Grab your crew, bring the good vibes, and get ready for some fun, food, and family time! There will be no lunch clubs today.

5. Dance tickets for the 7th & 8th Grade Halloween dance are still on sale! Buy your ticket on 5-Star or at both lunches for just $10. There will be a live DJ, games in the quad, food at the dog house, sports in the gym, and video games in the drama room. Plus, there will be a spooky costume contest with an awesome prize. The dance is tonight from 5pm-7pm. Can’t wait to see you all there!

6. Our 10.9% Goal! Our school has set a goal to bring chronic absenteeism down to 10.9%. That’s a big goal, but Bulldogs are up for the challenge! Every student who comes to school every day helps us move closer.

7. WRESTLING IS FOR 6TH, 7TH, AND 8TH GRADE BOYS AND GIRLS! Step up to the mat! All students interested in wrestling need to pick up a blue-and-white medical form in the office. Wrestling practice begins on November 3rd and completed medical forms are due to the office Today!

Join the school counselors at lunch to make a Red Ribbon Week bracelet! Tomorrow: Scare Off To***co & Drugs! Wear your Halloween costume! Please remember that costumes must be school-appropriate. No masks or fake weapons are allowed. If your costume includes makeup (like fake blood), it must be completely dry so it doesn't get on desks, chairs, or other school materials. Please do not apply costume makeup at school. Let's show our school spirit and celebrate a drug-free lifestyle!

🎃 Fall Carnival Fun: Mrs. Barrett’s 8th-grade WEB Leaders hosted a spooktacular fall carnival for our 6th graders!

➗ Math in Action: Ms. Molteni’s mathematicians tackled task cards and worked together to solve problems on our vertical whiteboards!

🪅 Culture & Creativity: Señor Cabrera’s Flex students explored culture through the colorful tradition of piñata making!

🏃 Pacer Power: Coach Ferrari’s PE students got moving and challenged themselves while running the pacers!

🍂 Fall Vibes: Mrs. Creel brought all the cozy autumn feels to the library!

From collaboration and creativity to movement and celebration, our Bulldogs made the most of every moment! It was a GREAT week to be a Bulldog!

4. Today is the last day for Spooky CandyGrams. We have a limited amount left for sale, so get yours before they sell out! Buy yourself or your friends a Spooky Candy Gram during lunch for $1 or $3. Spooky Grams will be sent to sixth period classes on Thursday 10/29, so make sure you know who their sixth period teacher is when you purchase your spooky treat!

5. Get excited, Bulldogs, next week is a spirit week and our final house competition of Trimester 1. Monday is Pajama Day, wear your school appropriate cozy clothes to school and earn points for your house. The house with the most students participating in the spirit week at the end of the week will earn THREE house points and secure their own side of the gym for our November all house rally. 🐾 Bulldog WAG: Buljan’s Week at a Glance!

What a week to be a Bulldog! From 6th-grade microbiome labs, to earned Starbucks parties, and topping it all off with our annual Color Run , Buljan was buzzing with learning, fun, and Bulldog spirit!

A HUGE shoutout to our amazing parent volunteers, Buljan PTC, and Mrs. Harshbarger’s Student Government for helping make Color Run happen! We couldn’t do it without you! Buljan was recently voted Best Middle School in the Press Tribune’s annual Best of the Best, and that recognition reflects the incredible partnership between our families and staff. When we work together, great things happen!

1. Attention, students! Our annual career fair is seeking parents, guardians, and community members to host a career fair booth and share their profession with our students. The career fair will be on Thursday, November 12th during lunch. Please ask any friends and family if they'd like to visit Buljan and share their job with our students! Let them know they can reach out to the school counselors by phone or email if they are interested.

2. 7th/8th boys: Today is the last day for basketball tryouts from 2:45-4:00 PM. You must have a blue medical form already filled out and turned in to be able to try out.

3. Are you ready for the COLOR RUN?! TOMORROW, October 16th, is our Annual Color Run, and we can’t wait! Want to get covered in color? Make sure you WEAR WHITE! Today is the LAST DAY we will be selling White shirts during both lunches for $4! We will not be selling shirts tomorrow. Get yours before they’re gone!

4. Make sure you bring your student ID to the color run tomorrow! There will be limited items for sale for BarkBucks.
