I’m trying something new. Giving a bit more freedom to my pack Rocky, Lychee, Kassie and Kiwi. They get to sleep in the living room all together instead of the crates or kennels.

Of course it’s a privilege. Timed and earned the trust to get the freedom. Both Rocky and Kassie came as reactive dogs and earned the freedom to roam around and sleep with the pack. Kiwi is supervised the group.

Talking about real world training. We took three of our dogs, Kiwi, Lychee and Kassie (board and train), to the bar down the street.

Everyone was a little cautious, took a minute to settle down. Teaching them calm, wait and stable in any situation, including a bar.

Very happy with them. It’s a success. 😏

This is the power of food luring, if u doing them properly, u can walk through any distractions.

Meet RAMBO — 3 ½ Month American Bully Pup 🐾💪

Today was our 2nd private lesson with RAMBO and his awesome Mom & Dad — and wow, what a joy to train with this little powerhouse. For a bully pup, he’s sharp picking things up faster than many older dogs do by lesson two.

Training at Garvey Dogs Park is like a box of chocolates… you never know what real-world distractions you’re gonna get. 🍫 Every time it’s different.

Today’s curveball? A field full of ⚽️ players, I don’t know anyone of them and they are very cool about it. Perfect opportunity but I do stupid sh*ts like this to practice focus under pressure and RAMBO nailed it, heeling calmly right through the action. His happy tail just kill me! 😲💪😍

Huge win for a puppy his age, and we’re all so proud. 🙌

When Kassie first came she wasn’t the most confident dog. Always on guard with people she doesn’t know, can show fear aggression, same with new places.

We are doing a lot of new environmental exposure, teaching her to calm her nerves. Good progress with her.

Right now she is just down next to me while I watch YouTube TV, teaching her how to be patient. We do this exercise with all our dogs.
Very happy with Kassie’s progress. 😏

This is dog competition stuff we teach to everyday people. Our typical heeling exercise next to mom that we teach, the dog needs to sync with mom, said "100% in control!" 💪

Bleu is doing exactly that, syncing with mom perfectly. Very happy with this team. 😍

It was a great group class at Citadel Outlets
I had a chance to work with every single dog that showed up. 😍 Big thanks to Goose, Charlie, Skye and GG for coming out.
It was so crowded at the outlet that we missed a few dogs and couldn’t find each other. 😢 So sorry about that, we’ll organize better next time.
We literally stopped traffic. A lot of people stopped by to watch how well everyone was behaving in the crowd, and they wanted to say hi and pet our dogs. Such a fun day.
All in all, very happy and successful. We’ll do it again next month at Santa Monica Mall. Stay tuned for the announcement and let us know if you want to join. 😏
