The Humane Society of Rome wants to introduce you to our group of puppies! 🐶

Snickerdoodle, Noodle, Oodle, and Stroodle are 11 week old Great Pyraneese, Anatolian Shepherd, and Australian Shepherd Mixes. As you can tell from those mixes, they will grow up to be LARGE dogs!

These puppies have lived with small children, and also are good with other dogs. Breed knowledge or experience is required.

If you are interested in fostering to adopt one of these puppies, come down to the Humane Society of Rome to fill out an application! Approved applications will be contacted to schedule meet and greets with the puppies. The Humane Society of Rome can’t wait to meet all the interested applicants! 🥰

Hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays, 11 to 4:30.

The Humane Society of Rome has many black and black and white cats available for adoption at our shelter! The solid black cats are often overlooked, but they all have unique personalities that will help them shine!

On Monday, the Humane Society of Rome had a great time at the Memorial Day Parade in Utica! 🇺🇸♥️💙

Our staff and volunteers all had a great time along the parade route! Even our cat and Jack had a wonderful time meeting so many new people 🤭

We can’t wait to join the community again in the Utica 4th of July parade!

It’s always a great day when the construction vehicles are moving!

The Humane Society of Rome is excited to share that the laying of the foundation for our new shelter has begun!
