UPDATE 04/13/26:
The owner of this dog, unfortunately has not come forward to claim ownership or responsibility for this dog. By law, this dog is now up for adoption. If you’re interested in this dog, there is a series of steps that have to be taken in order for the dog to be adopted he’s doing very well with his recovery and he’s a very bright dog. He’s not dog aggressive. He’s not food, aggressive. He loves to be petted. He loves his belly, scratched. He loves to cuddle, and he loves to run too. His activity is kept at a minimum until the veterinarian can release him to full mobility. But he’s polite he’s clean. He doesn’t mess in his kennel. He walks well on a leash. If you’re interested, let me know. 

This male dog was picked up by the Town of Remsen Dog Control Officer on Jones Road in the Town of Remsen. He has a leg injury and was taken to Beaver Meadow Veterinary Clinic for evaluation and treatment and will remain there over night.
