Welcome to 4-Week Boot Camp, Cadet Maggie.

Maggie has officially reported for duty—and she comes with a side hustle as a professional door dasher. Any open door is an invitation, and returning only happens when she decides it’s convenient, not when she’s called.

She went through a bit of separation anxiety when she first came. Hence, the late post... I don't really like showing them like that.

Over her time with me, we’ll be dialing in engagement, structure, obedience, environmental socialization, socialization with other dogs, and impulse control, with a strong focus on door manners and reliable recall.

Big congratulations to 4-week Boot Camp cadet Hamish on an outstanding training session yesterday.👏🐶

We took our work to one of the busiest intersections in Rome to focus on real-world obedience, confidence building, and impulse control. Despite all the distractions, Hamish did an excellent job staying engaged and thinking through his choices!

Here, we’re specifically working on impulse control in the travel crate—waiting calmly, not rushing the door, and showing patience before exiting. Huge progress for a challenging environment and a great step forward in his training journey!
