🐶📣WELCOME TO BOOT CAMP, CADET KALLIE!

Say hello to our newest 4-Week Boot Camp Cadet, Kallie!

Over the next four weeks, Kallie will be working on obedience, leash manners, impulse control, confidence, engagement, and learning how to make better choices around everyday distractions.

We’ll be building a solid foundation with commands like Sit, Down, Stay, Place, Heel, Here, and more, while gradually taking her training into real-world environments. As well as knocking out behaviors, such as Counter Surfing and Jumping to name a couple.

Of course, there will be plenty of adventures, socialization, and fun mixed in along the way!

Kallie has a busy four weeks ahead of her, and we’re excited to watch her progress!

🐶📣WELCOME CADET REMY! 🐾

Everyone help us welcome Remy, our newest 4-Week Boot Camp cadet!

Over the next four weeks, Remy will be working on building better manners, confidence, impulse control, and overall obedience. We’ll also be spending plenty of time out in the real world, working around different environments and distractions and helping Remy learn how to make better choices.

As always, the goal is to build a dog that is easier to communicate with, more confident, and better prepared for everyday life with their family.

We’re looking forward to seeing Remy’s progress over the next four weeks!

🎊🐾 HAPPY NATIONAL DOG DAY! 🐾🎊

Today we celebrate the dogs who make our lives better simply by being in them. 🐾❤️

They’re our companions, protectors, adventure buddies, comedians, and family. They teach us patience, loyalty, forgiveness, and how to enjoy the simple things in life.

And one of the greatest things we can give them in return is clear communication, guidance, and training.

Training is about so much more than teaching commands. It helps build confidence, creates better communication, strengthens the relationship between dog and handler, and gives our dogs the skills they need to safely experience more of the world with us.

Every training session is another opportunity to understand each other a little better and strengthen that bond.

So today, give your dog an extra treat, take that extra walk, spend a few minutes training together, or simply enjoy some quality time on the couch.

Here’s to the dogs who leave paw prints all over our homes—and our hearts. 🐾❤️

This is Rylo he's around 6-8 years old. He was adopted and returned yesterday due to the landlord saying he was an 'aggressive breed'. Rylo loves everyone and everything. He has an eye that was injured and healed wrong. He has some skin issues that is healing nicely. He is NOT aggressive. All he wants is a place to call his own. He's 68lbs but he's super compact. He has been at the shelter for 40 days. His adoption includes, neuter, microchip, and up to date on shots. Come meet sweet Rylo and give him a bed to spend his old man years in!

We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 11:30am-4:30pm and Saturday 1pm-4:30pm. We are located at 99 North Avenue Rome, Ga 30161.

This is Tondie. She is a year old and 56 lbs. She is super friendly and has the best ears ever! She loves people and other dogs. She has been at the shelter for 61 days and needs out! Come meet her!
