Just a reminder: Each participant for this Saturday's Poker Ride will receive a raffle ticket with each hand. Today is the last day to register to receive a bonus raffle ticket (Two raffle tickets for each hand purchased). Participants will still be able to sign up on Saturday at the start of the ride, but will receive one raffle ticket per each hand purchased. It will also be CASH ONLY to purchase hands. Good morning everyone, this year's City Celebration Poker Ride will once again be going back to a Poker Ride with some changes. At the beginning of the ride, participants will pick up a score card and will randomly draw a card at each stop. Each purchased hand will come with a raffle ticket. Participants that register early will receive a bonus raffle ticket with each hand purchased. The score card will be marked according to the card that was drawn. If a duplicate card is drawn on the same score card, another card will be drawn. The score card will be turned in at the PVPHA booth at the Empty Saddle Club. The participants that have the top 10 highest hands will choose their prizes first. High card draw will be determined to decide ties. Remaining prizes will be raffle off. Online information and registration will be up in the next day or two.

Big thank you to all of the sorters that came out to the Ventura County Fair Ranch Sorting, last Friday. Thank all the volunteers and members of the Ventura County Cattlemen's Association for helping organize this event, supplying cattle and volunteering their time to set up pens, number and manage cattle changes. Thank you to the MPH crew for helping in the booth and with sign ups., and big thank you to Karen Padgett for flagging the whole day. We look forward to seeing everyone soon.
