🐴 Seeking Participants for an IRB-Approved Doctoral Research Study

As both an equine-assisted practitioner and a doctoral student at Grand Canyon University, I have witnessed the incredible impact horses can have in the lives of neurodivergent individuals. Through my doctoral dissertation, I hope to better understand how equine-assisted practitioners document, evaluate, and interpret client progress so we can continue strengthening our profession through research.

I am currently seeking participants for my IRB-approved doctoral research study.

You may qualify if you:
✔️ Are a licensed or certified equine-assisted practitioner
✔️ Have at least 2 years of experience working with neurodivergent clients
✔️ Are 18 years of age or older
✔️ Reside in the United States

Participation includes:
• One confidential, audio-recorded 60-minute Zoom interview
• An optional 5-minute demographic questionnaire
• Scheduling at a time that is convenient for you

📌 Please read: Participation is completely voluntary, and there is no financial compensation for participating in this research study. I am seeking practitioners who are willing to generously share their professional knowledge and experiences to help advance research in the field of equine-assisted services.

If you meet the eligibility criteria and would like to participate, please complete the brief eligibility questionnaire here:

Eligibility Questionnaire https://form.jotform.com/261348814739164

If you know another qualified equine-assisted practitioner, I would sincerely appreciate you sharing this post with them. Every participant helps strengthen the understanding of our profession and contributes to future research.

Thank you for your time, your expertise, and for supporting research in the equine-assisted services community. 💜

There are moments that remind me exactly why Equine Elegance exists, and this is one of them.

I am beyond proud of my son, Oliver. ❤️

Over the past several months, he has become one of my biggest helpers during riding lessons and camps. He helps gather tack, gets horses ready, welcomes new students, and is always willing to lend a hand. One of my favorite things to watch is how naturally he helps other children feel comfortable, safe, and confident around our horses.

Lately, he has taken on an even bigger role. He’s now riding independently, checking fences, and going on little adventures around the farm with confidence and responsibility. Watching him grow into such a kind, capable young man has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.

There was a time when doctors told us Oliver would never walk and would never be verbal.

Today, he rides independently, reads stories out loud during our camps, greets families with a smile, and has a heart for helping others.

Every milestone is a reminder that no one should ever be defined by someone else’s limitations.

Oliver, I am so incredibly proud of you. Your determination, compassion, and love for horses inspire me every single day. Thank you for being such an important part of the Equine Elegance family and for showing others that with patience, support, and belief, incredible things are possible.

We love you, buddy. ❤️🐴

There are moments as an instructor that remind you exactly why you do what you do, and this is one of them.

I am beyond proud of Kourtney and everything she has accomplished in such a short amount of time. Watching her grow in confidence, horsemanship, and riding ability has been such a privilege. Last night, seeing her ride our beautiful Belle in the grand entry as Princess Royalty Attendant was an emotional and unforgettable moment. She looked absolutely beautiful, and I couldn’t have been prouder.

Kourtney’s dedication, determination, and willingness to learn have been inspiring to watch. It has been an honor to be part of her journey, and I feel incredibly blessed to have her and her family as part of the Equine Elegance family.

Her family’s words mean more to me than I can ever express, and with their permission, I’d like to share them exactly as they wrote them:

“There are truly no words to express how grateful we are for Arianna at Equine Eloquence. Since March, she has poured so much time, patience, and encouragement into helping Kourtney grow—not only as a rider, but as a confident young woman.

Because of Arianna’s guidance, Kourtney’s riding skills, horsemanship, and confidence have grown beyond what we ever imagined. She has helped Kourtney achieve dreams that once felt out of reach, including being able to participate in 4-H with her horse and competing for rodeo royalty. We’re so proud that Kourtney was named Princess Royalty Attendant, and we know that accomplishment was made possible in part because of Arianna’s dedication and belief in her.

One of the greatest gifts Arianna gave Kourtney was helping her find a horse to call her own. That gift has opened so many doors and created memories that will last a lifetime.

Arianna, thank you for your endless patience, your kindness, and your passion for teaching. Thank you for believing in Kourtney, celebrating her successes, and helping her become the rider and young lady she is today. We are forever grateful for the incredible impact you’ve had on her life. ❤️🐴”

Congratulations, Kourtney! This is only the beginning, and I cannot wait to watch you continue to chase your dreams. Thank you for allowing Equine Elegance to be a small part of your incredible journey. 💙🐴✨

🐴💙 Happy Equine-Assisted Services International Day! 💙🐴

Today we celebrate the incredible impact horses have on the lives of people around the world.

At Equine Elegance, we have the privilege of witnessing the unique bond between horses and humans every day. Horses have an extraordinary ability to help us build confidence, develop emotional awareness, strengthen communication, and foster resilience. They meet us without judgment, offering honest feedback and creating opportunities for growth, healing, and self-discovery.

Equine-assisted services encompass many disciplines, including equine-assisted learning, mental health, therapeutic riding, adaptive riding, and other programs that enrich lives through meaningful interactions with horses.

Today, we honor the horses, professionals, volunteers, participants, and families who make this work possible. Thank you for believing in the power of the horse-human connection.

💚 Every hoofbeat has the potential to change a life.

Happy Equine-Assisted Services International Day!

🐴☀️ Week 5 of our Young Equestrians Summer Camp was a fantastic day! ☀️🐴

Today we explored the fascinating world of horse breeding and genetics! The kids learned how different traits and characteristics are passed down from parents to foals, then used their creativity to design and share their very own dream horses. It was so much fun seeing their imaginations come to life!

Even though the temperatures were extremely hot today, we still made time to head out and spend some quality time with our horses. The horses enjoyed plenty of love, hugs, treats, and attention before we headed back inside to cool off with delicious icees and more camp activities.

Watching these young equestrians grow in their knowledge, confidence, and love for horses each week has been such a joy!

📅 A reminder: There will be no camp next week.

🎓 Our final week of camp will be August 11, where we’ll celebrate all of our campers’ hard work with a graduation ceremony, a beautiful cake, and a delicious meal from Richard’s Ribs. We can’t wait to celebrate this amazing group of young horse lovers!
