Happy Mother’s Day from Equine Elegance 🤍🐴

Today we celebrate the incredible mothers who lead with strength, compassion, patience, and unconditional love — both in and out of the barn. From late nights caring for family, to early mornings feeding horses, to always putting others before themselves, your dedication never goes unnoticed.

We also honor the special bond between mares and foals, the nurturing spirit found within the equine world, and the women who create healing, confidence, and connection through horses every single day.

To every mother, grandmother, bonus mom, horse mom, mentor, and caregiver — thank you for the love you pour into the world. Your kindness leaves hoofprints on hearts that last forever.

What beautiful weather we’ve had the last few days—and we are so grateful for the much-needed moisture 🌧️✨

We have a full and exciting week ahead at Equine Elegance:

• Homeschool Group – Wednesday 2–4
• Spring Camp: Healing From Within (Day 2) – Friday 1–4
• Mindful Riding Camp (Day 1) – Saturday 1–3

We also have a few appointment openings Saturday starting at 10 AM.

Yesterday marked the beautiful beginning of our Spring Camp: Healing From Within at Equine Elegance.

We spent our first day exploring emotional awareness—learning how to recognize, understand, and gently manage our feelings. Through our time with the horses, participants discovered just how similar equine behavior is to our own, offering powerful insight into connection, communication, and self-awareness.

We also introduced practical tools to navigate the nervous system responses of fight, flight, fawn, and freeze—empowering each participant with strategies they can carry beyond the farm and into everyday life.

It was a meaningful, grounding start to a transformative journey, and we’re so honored to hold space for this work. 🤍🐴

Join us for a unique riding experience focused on connection, confidence, and calm. Our Mindful Riding Camp is designed to help riders grow both in and out of the saddle through intentional, small-group learning.

✨ Camp Dates: May 9th & 16th
⏰ Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
👧👦 Ages: 6–18
👥 Limited to just 4 riders per camp

This is more than just riding—it's about building harmony with the horse, developing focus, and creating a deeper understanding of movement, balance, and trust.

What an incredible day!

We had the pleasure of welcoming students from Otero College this morning, where they had the opportunity to ride and deepen their understanding of horses. It was a meaningful and enriching experience for everyone involved, and such a joy to share our passion.

The day continued with a wonderful riding lesson, making it a full and rewarding time at the farm.

We’re also especially grateful as much-needed moisture is finally headed our way—something our farms and land have been patiently waiting for.
