Hey folks, we have an exciting new program to offer up for kids that are from Kindergarten-1st Grade. Courtney, from the Roane County UT Extension Institute of Agriculture, will be teaching an assortment of classes that will cover topics such as farming and various farm animals. These classes will be from 1-2 PM at our library.

Included below is a calendar with all of the dates the classes will be offered. We will not be hosting any of these classes in October and April due to our book sale. We hope to see you there!

Our team at the Rockwood Public Library would like to thank everyone who participated this year in our Summer Reading Program. We hope you had as much fun as we did! The theme this year was "Color Our World" We want to thank all of our special guest performers as well. We had a visit from The Roane County Animal Shelter, The Health Department, UT Extension, Painting Parties Plus with Rose, Gene the ventriloquist, a pottery session with Jenni and our other friends from Shenanigans, and The Little Ponderosa Zoo. We would also like to once again thank all of the wonderful businesses who donated tickets/ prizes for our program. Those businesses were The Creative Discovery Museum, Watts Bar Lake Jellystone Park, The American Museum of Science and Energy, and the Children's Museum Of Oak Ridge. We hope to see you all next year!

We've hit a year being open and we want to celebrate with YOU!

Come see us Saturday August 2nd for our summer ending, anniversary celebrating, fill a bag sale. Fill a large IKEA bag with ALMOST everything you can find in the store for $25. (Exclusions will be marked)

We're so thankful for the year of support shown us by the people in Roane County ❤️ The endless volunteer hours, all the donations, and all the love so we can ensure no child in Roane County experiences homelessness.
