Again - please STOP with the posts on what I consider to be a non-competitor. I do not care what is going on and only care about our clients. Period. We are so vastly different in quality, education, experience and years in business what happens to that business is of zero consequence to us. If you want to use them by all means continue. The proof is in the pudding when you go to use the semen. Not before.

Ok…..this drama over a semen facility that is several states away is ridiculous. He said, she said and my answer is I DO NOT CARE. They are of no consequence and no competition. Anyone coming on this business page trying to school my clients on what they think is the truth will be deleted. Period. Anyone who is my client and involved in this dust up you know we are here for you and have been for 30 years. I am starting to get very irritated with non clients coming on here are making comments. If you are not a client please keep your advice or thoughts on what the truth is in the situation to yourself! There are two sides to a story and only those two parties know the truth. I have absolutely zero clue WHAT the truth is at this point.

We have been freezing semen for THIRTY YEARS. No change in process or extender! No “new technology” or mystery extender. And the proof is in the pudding. We just sent out semen we froze 30 years ago and it looks as good as the day it was frozen. No depletion of quality over time. Below is an example of of drop of one pellet on a Golden Retriever that I froze this AM. Give your clients and breeding program the best!!! Our work speaks for itself.

If anyone needs to transfer semen to our facility we can arrange to share the shipper with as many people as possible. If enough people want to move it, we can possibly physically go to retrieve it.

Important Update
from your Atlanta frozen storage facility
Please read carefully, your action is required.
What We’re Up To
Dear Valued Dog Breeders:

Please read this important update carefully.

We are reaching out to dog breeders who have had frozen canine semen stored in Canton, Georgia.

Atlanta Canine Reproduction, LLC is currently managing and storing frozen canine semen inventory that has been managed and stored in Canton. Although Atlanta Canine Reproduction, LLC offers frozen canine semen management and storage services, it does not offer, and will not be offering, canine semen collection- or freezing-related services. Although this is a significant development, rest assured — your frozen canine semen samples have not been moved, and they remain stored at the same physical location in Canton as they have been.

With this development, we are contacting you to confirm where you want your frozen canine semen samples managed and stored going forward. You can choose to continue storing it in Canton, or to transfer it elsewhere, including to any other frozen semen storage facility in the greater Atlanta area and beyond. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns about your available options.

Regardless of where you choose to store your frozen canine semen going forward, we have attached a form for you to complete and return to us to facilitate a transfer of your frozen semen samples to the desired facility. Please note that additional forms may be required by the destination storage facility to store your frozen canine semen, and we recommend that you confirm with that facility what else may be needed before any transfer is arranged.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us - we are here to help!

Warm regards,

Atlanta Canine Reproduction, LLC

Common question - “What number do you like to be at to breed?”
Answer - “Gee Mr. Spicoli, I don’t know.”

But all joking aside this is a very very common question. And VERY confusing to people. They go to their trusted vet partner and go in for a progesterone. They are given the result. Many times with an ovulation chart attached. Now mind you all “machines” can have different charts based on the company who made it. In a previous post I discussed assays vs the different testing methods of the hormone level. So Spicoli, why do you say “I don’t know”. I don’t, because all that truly matters is hitting ovulation and confirming the rise of at least 3 the following day. So for instance…..let’s say a female was at a 6ng/ml. We will call that ovulation. Then the next day you couldn’t make it to your vet for another test and you go in two days after the 6ng/ml and they say she is at a 20+ng/ml and you absolutely lose your mind thinking “I missed her”. NO YOU DIDN’T! The top number does NOT matter! Repeat after me……”the top number doesn’t matter”. LH surge matters, ovulation matters, confirming the rise matters. The top number tops out differently on each bitch. I hope this helps you all understand numbers a tiny bit more.
