My husband & I have come together as a team to be your pets’ new best friends. As dog and cat (and horse HA!) owners ourselves, we wanted to provide a service to other pet owners to help relieve anxiety and stress when you cannot be with your “fur babies.” For this reason alone, paired with our passion for animals & experience, we wanted to turn a dream into a reality by starting Happy Paws LLC.

Detailed Background:
My husband & I have grown up with various pets and animals, so the love for them has
ALWAYS been there. My personal passion really sparked when I started working as a veterinary assistant when I turned 16 at a local veterinary office. I assisted the veterinarians regularly, but my main task was kennel duty and working the front desk to greet clients and check in/out patients.
Fast forward seven years later, I graduated from Murray State University majoring in Animal Science with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Science. Taking this newly earned diploma, I set off to work for another veterinarian, but this new position stemmed from my passion for the larger “dog breed” named horse :D . That fall I got engaged and then the following summer I packed my things, loaded my fur kids, and headed back to Indiana to marry my best friend.
Moreover, after a year of settling into our new routine of things, my husband & I are excited to pursue our passion for animals on a daily level and provide a service to our surrounding community and their pets. Our goal is to offer a close to home environment that encourages a low stress and anxiety setting, from checking them in to signing them out, backed by experience and pure love for animals.
