🐾 One Year of Paws and Claws: A Heartfelt Thank You! 🐾

Wow... what a difference a year makes!

Exactly one year ago this June, we packed up our lives, moved across the country from out of state, and took a leap of faith to become the new owners of Paws and Claws. Moving to a new place is always an adventure, but from the very moment we arrived, this incredible community opened its arms and made us feel right at home.

It has been a whirlwind of a year, and we’ve been working hard to make Paws and Claws the best it can possibly be for you and your furry family members. Over the past 12 months, we have:

Expanded our facilities to give your pups even more space to run and play.

Launched our Sniffspot private dog park and agility course, offering a dedicated space for safe, off-leash fun.

Partnered with amazing local shelters like It Takes a Village, SPARKY, and AWAA to provide fresh "glow-up" grooms for rescue pups searching for their forever homes.

Proudly sponsored our local western youth baseball teams and donated to other youth events to give back to the next generation.

None of this would be possible without the incredible people who make up the Paws and Claws family.

To our clients and families: Thank you for trusting us with your beloved pets. Getting to know your dogs, cats, and even a few farm animals has been the absolute joy of our lives.

To our phenomenal employees: Thank you for your dedication, hard work, and the boundless love you show to every animal that walks through our doors. You are the heartbeat of this business.

It might be almost summer, but the puppy fever is real! So many adorable new puppies are heading to their forever homes right now, and one of the most important things they need is a positive introduction to grooming.

To make sure your new furry family member feels safe and confident, we offer a specialized 3-Step Puppy Acclimation Program:

Phase 1: The Puppy Bath 🧼 Our first step is all about a gentle introduction. This visit is focused on getting your puppy used to the unique sights, sounds, and sensations of the shop without overwhelming them.

Phase 2: The Intro Groom ✂️ On their next visit, we step it up just a bit. This includes a bath, brush, and a tidy-up of the essential areas—trimming the face, feet, and sanitary areas, along with all the extra TLC they need.

Phase 3: The Full Groom 👑 By their third visit, your puppy is familiar with our team and the environment, making them completely ready for a stress-free, full-body groom!

Our professional groomers are here to set your pup up for success. During these visits, we don't just groom your dog—we also provide you with helpful tips and personalized suggestions for at-home prep to keep them comfortable between appointments.
