And arrive he did…to the right people at the right time
Success story of the day!! This big boy showed up about a month or so ago at one of our team member’s neighborhood around the beginning of April and hung around because as you all know, we are big on caring for community cats.
Well today, he rode the bus to get neutered and go to his new home. The clinic called our director because he was already neutered and closed up and vaccinated him. Something told her to ask to check for a chip and lo and behold, he had one.
Merlin has been missing from his mom, dad, and siblings FOR 41 days!!!And they live in Southern Pines and he was found in HAMLET!! He’s a little high from the pain meds and he got some booster shots and a few stitches BUT HE IS GOING HOME!!!

He is back with his brother Gandalf and is on permanent outdoor restriction!!
