Please spread the word so we can reunite this found dog with its family! FOUND on February 8, 2026 in Richmond County, NC 28379 near Zion church rd HWY 74 exit

Message from Owner: "Young male (around a yr ish) found while passing though rockingham off the highway exit. Extremely friendly and loving

He and another possible female were a pair but she was timid and bolted.

He has a distinct feature on his front left paw that will be needed in order to prove ownership

No microchip found. Intact.
He is safe in our care in Wilmington as we were passing through on a Sunday and all shelters in area closed and not accepting dogs

hoping to reunite with family and willing to drive back .

The other dog was a possible female slightly older looking.. had a light colored collar also extremely skinny. Mostly black in color with brindle/brown and possibly white feet.
If this pair sounds like yours, we have your other half safe, clean and fed! "

We’ve had to create a new Facebook profile. The page we’ve been using was created before Tessie Caulder Brigman became Director of the Richmond County Animal Shelter, and we’ve been logged out on all computers except one. Unfortunately, we’re unable to log back in. Our new page has the same name as our current profile Richmond County Animal Shelter- RCAS and you can click the blue writing to give us a follow!

For now, we’ll continue using both pages to keep everyone updated. Thank you for your support!

This cat was brought to us today in a cat trap. Will be placed on 72 hour hold for owners to reclaim.
Proof of ownership will be required.

Solid White cat 10 years old, possibly blue or red collar, one green eye one blue eye. Missing from Laburn McLean road and st John's church road in Gibson nc. Went missing on January 11th.
