Patti (Oxbow's II Courageous Patriot) and I earned a 108 prize II in the NAVHDA Natural Ability test at 7 months of age in some oppressive heat this weekend. She's such a phenomenal dog and is going to be a exceptional addition to our breeding program if everything continues to work out.

Congrats to Bill and Whiskey from our B-litter on earning a 166 prize III in their Utility test on Saturday at the North West Indiana Navhda chapter's fall test!

Congrats also goes out to Todd and Alice from our E-litter for earning a 106 prize I in their Natural Ability test on Saturday.

Also congrats to Ryan Cowherd and Banks from our C-litter on earning 129 Prize III in the new Gun Dog test. Banks cleared the field with incredible intensity on his points. He's going to be a force to recon with this fall on the prairie of South Dakota.

It's great, dedicated owners like Bill, Todd, and Ryan that help us ensure our breeding program is producing the type of dog we are striving for.

Awesome evening of training with the NAVHDA group. Got Phin to do his first back all on his own over maizie's stylish point and honored through the whole sequence. He's such an honest dog! Finished the night with a 5 bird ladder drill from 80 to 150ish yards. Keeping my fingers crossed but I think we are in the right spot for this time of the year. Welcome to the pack Patti!

Last night Mikayla and I drove 9 hrs round trip to pickup Oxbow's II Courageous Patriot. After a short tantrum in the crate she was quiet as can be the rest of the trip. After a quick midnight potty break she went right back to sleep quietly in the kennel for the rest of the night.

Today she got the full Packmaster treatment, introduction to the rest of the pack, a walk in the woods, intro to the training table and treat 'N train and of course lots of attention from the kids.

We are super excited to guide her into becoming the best dog she can be and give her a great life hunting wild birds.

Thank you to the dedicated C-litter owners that were willing to commit the time and effort to test their pups. This is our first ever breeders award and is pretty special coming from Frannie's last litter.

5 pups tested, 4 by new handlers and Fenix by my 12 year old son, Tyler.

This handsome devil, known in our household as Harry is still available and looking for a quality hunting partner that is willing to test in NAVHDA. He is 12 weeks old from our E-litter. Phenomenal temperament, wonderful coat, and quick learning.

This is a phenomenal pairing producing precious swimmers and retrievers. Harry has begun crate training/house breaking, reward based training to recall, fetch, and kennel. He's been exposed to 209 primer shots, pigeons, and ducks.

Harry is Embark DNA tested, microchipped, and up to date on vaterinary care.
