Happy Tails is a limited-intake, no-kill facility that shelters/cares for stray/abandoned dogs and cats. Thank you!

Bodie waited a long time to find him new dad! And he wasn’t about to take his eyes off of him! 🥰
They make quite the team! Even the cat is warming up to her new brother!
Together they have went on many adventures already! But dad is convinced one thing Bodie never learned in his past life was how to jump!🤣
I am sure a few more of those car rides will change that!
Congratulations to our sweet shy boy! He sure was a favorite of many! 🩷💕!

Hello! I seen everyone sharing their adoption stories, so decided to update you all on Drago aka Buddy. Drago has been with us 2 years now. If you read our story before you'll know it took some work to get my 2 boys to get along. We kept putting in the work and consulted Dylan when needed. My kids were taught that every dog needs time to adjust to a new home. We gave him space and let him adjust. We love him and love that he helps keep his brother young (even if he does get annoyed with his younger sibling). My kiddos and I love our big boys❤️

We adopted Odin in 2019. Every breed of dog has their own traits. Odin was not a social dog, but he loved his family and tolerated our other dogs and cats. He preferred us to never have company over and I understood his sentiments.(lol) I may be happily married with four kids but I’m not sure anyone has loved me as much as Odin did. Odin has been gone for a year now and I still want to cry thinking about him. I’m thankful to Happy Tails to have given me my handsome boy, I only wish I could have had more time with him.

She will also have a big sister Nova who has been waiting to welcome her!❤️

This is our handsome, sweet Benjamin (aka Benji, Mookie Bear, Baby Bear, Ben, and most recently, Shnookums 😆).

Happy Tails pulled both him and his sister, Buttons, from a kill shelter in February 2025, where they were BOTH scheduled to be euthanized because of Benjamin’s paw injury. On the day we picked Ben up to foster him, another family was there to foster his sister so she wouldn’t have to be at the shelter alone. Going above and beyond, Happy Tails had taken that extra step to help soften the separation for them. ❤️

We fostered Ben back to health and made sure he attended all his necessary vet follow-ups. Happy Tails was 100% supportive and informative throughout the entire process. We were heartbroken when his X-rays revealed buckshot throughout his leg. God only knows the struggles this poor pup had endured. 💔

We were so sad thinking about the past he had to survive before finding his way to us, but we’ve made up for it 1,000%! ❤️ Skyler adopted him, but he has absolutely stolen our entire family’s heart. He is a phenomenal boy! Smart, sweet, and loves everyone—two-legged or four-legged! To know Benji is to love him! 🖤

We are forever grateful to Happy Tails and all they do for these voiceless, precious creatures. You’re all angels, and the ripples of love that flow from your work are felt throughout our community and beyond!
