💕🎉🥳🥰 🎶🤗🫶🏻👏🏻👊🏻🙏🌸🍾🎊🎉 💕 MISS TILLY DID IT! 💕
Our sweet girl has officially COMPLETED her heartworm treatment! 🎉🐾
And in true Tilly fashion, she was the BEST patient and the happiest girl through it all.
So how do you celebrate a girl who has fought this hard?
💅 A pretty pink pedicure yesterday.
🍳 Scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast.
🏡 And now… we need to give her the one thing she has been waiting for:
A HOME OF HER VERY OWN. ❤️
Tilly has already lived more than one lifetime of heartbreak.
For years, she was used as a breeding mom. Then, when she was no longer wanted, she was discarded.
She was skin and bones when she came to us and was next in line for Death Row.
We thought she was finally safe.
Then, when we had her spayed, we learned she was heartworm positive — another diagnosis that could have become another death sentence.
But this is why Happy Tails is here.
This is why every donation, every fundraiser, every adoption, every share and every person who chooses to support our mission matters.
Your support allows us to say YES when an animal needs us.
Yes, we will pull you from Death Row.
Yes, we will feed you until those ribs disappear.
Yes, we will get you the medical care you need.
Yes, we will fight for you.
And yes, we will love you until your forever family finally finds you. ❤️
Tilly is what your support makes possible.
And there will always be another Tilly.
Another scared dog waiting in a kennel. Another sick animal needing treatment. Another discarded soul who simply needs someone to say, “Your life matters.”
When you support Happy Tails, you help give us the ability to keep saying YES.
And look at what saying yes did for Tilly! 🥹💕
🐾 Approximately 4 years old
🐾 A healthy 78 pounds
🐾 Potty trained
🐾 The BEST walker
🐾 Loves people
🐾 Dog friendly
🐾 Ignores the cats
🐾 Professional couch potato
🐾 More than willing to hold down your front porch rug so it doesn’t blow away 😂
And, according to one of our volunteers…
“She is the cutest skillet head ever!” 😂💗
Tilly survived being used.
She survived being discarded.
She escaped Death Row.
She survived heartworms.
Now we want her to experience something she may have never truly had — being someone’s cherished baby.
No more breeding.
No more being unwanted.
No more wondering what comes next.
Just a couch, a family, belly rubs, ridiculous amounts of love… and maybe scrambled eggs every once in a while. ❤️
Let’s finish Tilly’s story together. LET’S FIND HER HOME!
Please SHARE, SHARE, SHARE! Somewhere out there is the person who is going to look at that beautiful skillet head and say:
“That’s my girl.” 🥹🐾💕
