14-Year-Old Thoroughbred Gelding
📍 Milton-Freewater, OR
💲 12,000 - Open to Offers

Dune is a 16.2hh, 14-year-old Thoroughbred gelding with a ton of versatility and experience! He has been used for barrels, poles, trail riding, ranch work, and 4-H. He was a little girl's 4-H horse for several years, participating in multiple events, and has even been used for barrel lessons with young, inexperienced riders. He is best suited for an intermediate rider who appreciates a forward-moving horse with plenty of personality and ability.

Dune has a great foundation outside the arena as well. He has pushed cattle, been used for ranch work, packed flags, and is sure-footed on the trails. He crosses water and bridges with confidence, stands quietly to mount, saddles nicely, and is not cinchy. He is easy to catch, load, and tie, gets along well in a herd, and is excellent for the farrier.

Dune is on the hotter side and enjoys being out front on the trails. He can get buddy sour, so a rider who is confident and comfortable managing that behavior is important. He also benefits from consistent, correct slow work, especially when being hauled to rodeos. He was previously pushed hard and developed some gate refusal, but has made good progress with a more thoughtful approach. He is a hard keeper, as can be common with Thoroughbreds, and his owner recommends appropriate ulcer management. Dune would make a fun, versatile partner for someone looking for a horse with experience in and out of the arena.

Quarter Horse/Warm Springs Mustang Mare

📍 Lebanon, OR
💲 4,500

Rayne is a really nice Quarter Horse/Warm Springs mare with a solid brain for her age! She is approximately 2 years and 6 months old, currently stands 14.2hh, and is expected to mature around 15.2hh. She has been under saddle for about 3 months and is going well at the walk, trot, and lope. She is a brave, level-headed young mare with lots of potential for someone looking for a fun riding partner.

Rayne has a great start on her groundwork and handles a variety of situations well. She trailers, bathes, stands tied, stands for the farrier, swims, ground ties, lunges, and has been ponied another horse before. She is also great around heavy machinery, dogs, golf carts, and leaf blowers. She has had bloodwork done and been vetted.

Rayne is still green and can be a bit babyish under saddle, occasionally needing reminders to listen to rein cues and working through some wiggles. She is definitely more whoa than go and will benefit from a rider with a good leg. We would ideally like to see her go to an intermediate to advanced rider who can continue bringing her along and enjoy trails and other pleasure riding with her. She has a great foundation to build on and lots of potential with the right person!

This c**t has a lot going for him, and we can’t say enough good things about him! He is halter broke, loads, and has had his feet done. He should make a great prospect for someone looking for a well-built c**t with a good mind and a strong ranch-horse background.

2019 Red Dun AQHA/APHA Mare
By Chromed Out Creation, out of Vision of Jamaica (Jamaican Hottie)

📍 Riverside, WA
💲 $6,500

MJK Jamaican Chrome is a stunning 15.2-hand red dun mare with plenty of chrome. She was broke as a 3-year-old and is 100% sound. She has not been ridden consistently, so she will need a restart before returning to regular riding.

She had gorgeous APHA c**t this year with lots of chrome! One of the things that makes this mare so special is her nurturing personality. After another c**t was weaned and his dam left, she took him under her wing and even allowed him to nurse.

MJK Jamaican Chrome is double registered AQHA/APHA, and both sets of papers are in hand. She would make a lovely addition to a breeding program or the right home looking for a beautiful mare with a sweet, maternal disposition.
