Derby at the Vineyard LLC at Penns Woods Winery photo dump!! A fabulous weekend for a horse show! Thank you to all who made this weekend possible, especially the wonderful Kim Riale for all her tireless work running such great shows. We had a fun weekend of growth and learning, with some great results for many of our horses and riders! Now time for all our riders, trainers & ponies to sleep off the horse show hangover!

We had a great time taking a few horses to the ECTB show hosted by our good friends at Bravo Equestrian this past weekend!

Megan and her Rookieoftheyear had a lovely first show of the season with top placings in their classes🥇
Lauren took our lesson pony prospect Artistic Reason (known around the barn as Pablo) to his very first show and he cantered around his crossrail courses like an old pro!
Addyson and Fastmaster had several wonderful rounds at 2’ and moved up to do the 2’3 as well 💪
Ellie and her Sweet n Silver had a wonderful show day on her birthday!! Happy birthday Ellie 🥳🎈

We love any opportunity to show off the talent and versatility of our thoroughbreds and appreciate the East Coast Thoroughbred League for bringing more local shows for Thoroughbreds to the area!

We are SO proud of our Amelia Bennett for putting in a wonderful ride at IEA - Interscholastic Equestrian Association National Finals. She represented team PM well and we are so grateful she’s a part of our team. All of us at home wish Megan, Amelia and her mom Amanda safe travels home this weekend! 💙☘️

These gals had a great day today at Fair Hill International starter trials running the Elementary! Everyone put in fabulous rides and were super supportive and helpful to each other.

We are so proud to have 2 more qualifiers for the Plantation/Fair Hill Championships in October, Piper Bish and her pony Hans were 2nd and Angeline Stevens and Luna were the winners of their division! They will be joining Kinley and Addyson at that show 🏆💙

A bunch of our PM riders spent the day supporting the local equestrian community by volunteering at Fair Hill International! They had a ton of fun running dressage scores and being XC crossing guards, as well as getting the chance to watch everyone jump around the bigger tracks today. We’re proud of these girls for spending their time helping out and cheering on the riders today and are very excited to bring many of them back tomorrow as competitors!

The event season started off with a bang for the PM Equestrian crew at Plantation Field Horse Trials yesterday!

Highlights:

🏆Kinley McCarthy on her own Marshmallow and Addyson Bissinger on our Nugget got 1st & 2nd in the Elementary rider division and qualified for the new Plantation/Fair Hill championship show in October!!🏆

McKenna Hamilton placed 6th on James and found her confidence in stadium and cross country.

Cory Burtch and Sahara had a personal best dressage score of a 33.4 and Sahara bravely conquered the stadium and cross country courses.

Congrats to everyone and thank you to all the kind and supportive folks at Plantation Field for a smoothly run and fun day of eventing!! 💙
