We embrace the neediest cats regardless of age, most medical issues, or temperament, making us a harbor of hope for the most desperate. Most of our cats go on to be adopted; but those who aren’t find a loving home for life at Tabby’s Place. Unique Features of our Sanctuary:
• Free-roam shelter with communal living environments for cats, with plenty of horizontal and vertical space for exercise and

play.
• Outdoor enclosures for cats to enjoy fresh air and sunlight.
• Accommodates cats with a variety of health or behavioral issues.
• Accommodates FeLV+ and FIV+ cats.
• Contains an in-house medical facility.
• Uses specialized materials to facilitate cleaning and encourage a disease-free environment.

Springtime means the solariums are abuzz with activity - birds and bugs abound, and the cats thrill at the prospect of a hunt.

It's easy to get charmed by the cats who confidently strut up to greet you. (Or in the case of our official Lobby greeter Oliver, scoot up up their butts.) But don't overlook the more reserved cats - earn the trust of a shy cat and you'll gain a truly loyal companion.

We don't know how many of her four years Lucy spent living outdoors, but because she is FIV+ it's safest for her to transition to an indoor life. And she's adjusted well! Lucy is a calm and gentle cat who gets along well with the other cats in her suite. She can be a little timid, but approach her gently and you'll quickly learn that this beautiful girl loves to be petted.

Karl is three years old and his story is similar - he came to us FIV+ and very nervous. But over time he's grown more comfortable, and if you earn his trust he'll show you that he's got a heart as big as the outdoors! Karl would love a home with a patient adopter who will give him the time to feel safe - and he'd love some feline friends as well.

Meet Portia!

Five-year-old Portia is a perfect balance of sugar and spice. She's a playful, affectionate cat - but she can get overstimulated and show you her spicy side.

Portia is looking for a home where she can be an only cat with an experienced adopter who can learn to love her on her own terms.
