We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our followers and supporters who have offered to volunteer with us at our new adventure, The Purrfect Bean!

We’ve received an overwhelming response — so much so that we are temporarily closing the volunteer application at this time.

If you submitted your application by August 4th, we’ll be in touch soon to get you started!

Okay, but how dreamy are these mugs?? So grateful to our friends at for making these purrfect mugs that we’ll be serving all our drinks in when we open! Each one is totally unique, colorful, and has our stamp of approval (literally) on the bottom. 😻

🚨 NEW MERCH ALERT 🚨

Tees, hats, and one very photogenic kitten (hi, Frappe). These aren't for sale YET, but we couldn't keep them to ourselves any longer!!! We'll have these tees and hats available for purchase at the cafe once we open our doors! Let us know what you think! 😻

Hi friends, Michelle here!

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for all the love and support you've shown us so far — it means the world. I know we’ve been getting lots of “when are you opening?” messages, so I wanted to share a quick update with you.

We’re still wrapping up the final steps in the permit process, but we’re getting so close. While we don’t have an exact grand opening date just yet, we’re aiming for early June and keeping everything crossed in the meantime.

We seriously can’t wait to welcome you in, pour you a drink, and introduce you to some sweet cats. Thanks for being on this journey with us — we’re almost there!

Our founder Michelle just picked up some seriously cute foster kittens from our cat cafe partner, Purring Hearts VA! 😻

It’s officially kitten season, so now’s a great time to support your local rescues by fostering, donating, or spreading the word! We’re not sure if these cuties will still be in foster care by the time the cafe opens, but if you’d like to meet them (or help others like them), reach out to Purring Hearts!
