What an odd flex for another pet business (American Standard Dog Training) to be blaming service dog handlers for advocating for themselves and their lifelines at the Disney Parks…

Lying about your Cane Corse being a SD to fly your dog in cabin, then proceeding to do bitework in the middle of Disney World surrounded by children using a mascot as the decoy in a “service dog” harness is never okay. Coming online and blaming the “weird little service dog cult” for getting you a lifetime ban from Disney parks, Universal Studios, and neighboring parks, but also blockingg ANYONE who questioned you? Don’t throw stones when you live in a glass house, my boy.

You’re making life for those of us who require assistance animals significantly harder, but, I wouldn’t expect you to understand that. That’s a big ask of a small minded man! Do better. I’ll be happy to show you the ropes on this side, but, I’d never expect you to accept.

K9 Blesk was in the zone during a detection scenario when he caught the scent of dope. But there was one problem—a paint can in his way. Naturally, he did what any determined detection dog would do… he bit it, launched it, and alerted like a pro. 💪🐾 Now he’s sporting his new high-visibility tactical face paint.

UPDATE:: the collar has been found!! The equipment is likely gone forever (Drove through myself today also), but Drew Flower is the GOAT!!!

If anyone is driving from Yorktown to Richmond by way of Hampton Highway and I-64, and you see anything fluorescent pink, any prong collars, or a fluorescent pink ecollar system, please let me know ASAP. 518-241-3824

Somehow, one box fell out of the trailer while i moved, and it had all of Tyche’s training equipment in it, along with all of my Highpoint tools. 😢 Training tools can be replaced, but Tyche’s can’t. 💔

Who are we?

I have grown up with horses, dogs, cats, chickens, hamsters, just about every animal known to mankind, and am currently a veterinary technician student. There isn’t an animal I won’t care for! Highpoint Farm and Pet Sitting came to fruition when one of my longtime friends was looking for someone to watch her hobby farm of pigs, ducks, and a flock of chickens so she could escape for a weekend. Of course I said yes. This opened up a whole new idea in my head - farm sitting! Most barn managers and farm owners are entirely unable to visit family out of state, take a much needed vacation, or care for their own wellbeing, due to the demanding nature of large and farm animals. Highpoint is available on long-term notice, short-term, and occasionally on an “emergent” basis, since health emergencies rarely provide a heads up, much less happen between 9-5, Monday to Friday. As stated earlier, I have experience with horses, as well as goats, donkeys, pigs, sheep, ducks, chickens, rabbits, cats, and dogs. As an added bonus- I have the knowledge and ability to apply different types of medicinal salves, treatments, and wraps. Do you have a diabetic dog who needs their blood glucose level checked prior to their insulin injection? I can help! Do you have a horse who requires standing wraps? I pride myself in my wrapping skills! I also unfortunately have thorough knowledge of the use of betadine, both on myself and my animals. Do you know someone with a cat in chronic renal failure? Send them my way, administering subcutaneous fluids aren’t a stranger to me!
